The Book Of John John 1:1-5

for educators
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He
was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was
not any thing made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The
light shines in the the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

There’s a Word for that! The Word of God

No matter what happens at school, there is something in the Word of God for it. When we are so
busy, particularly at the beginning of the school year, we need to go to the Word!

Matthew 4:4 – But He answered, “It is written, “ ‘Man shall not live by bread alone but by every
word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ”

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you at the beginning of the school year
committing our school life to relying on You and
Your Word. You have shown us that we shall not live
by bread alone, but by every word that comes from
A

Your mouth. Help us Lord to learn more of Your

word and to meditate on it everyday. In humble
thanks we pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
