Role Off-Shore Team Member

 Role Description Acted as a team member to handle all types of issues including
Database Refreshes, Schema level Refreshes (EXP/EXPDP and
IMP/IMPDP),Dataguard Gap Issues, performance issues,
restore and Recovery by using RMAN, User access requests ,
backup failures.

Key - Roles and Responsibilities:

Supporting 24*7 production support.
Installation of Oracle 11g grid databases on Windows and Linux environment.
Resolving database issues through ITIL process (Incident, Problem and Change
Management).
Monitoring Databases through OEM 11g.
Creation of Table spaces, data files.
Managing control files, data files, and redo log files.

Converting Physical Standby databases to Snapshot Standby databases for

testing.
Identifying the backup failures and rerun the backups as per the schedule.
Supporting on space related issues (housekeeping Activities) and regular ORA-
errors.
Adding and relocating the datafiles based on space requirements.
Performing export and import operations (exp, expdp and imp, impdp).
Resolving gap sequence issues between primary and DR.
Performing database refresh from source to target at different levels full db,
