Extend the reach of your
reliability efforts
The VibPak is an accessory that connects to
the SKF MARLIN data manager. It enables
SKF MARLIN users to collect vibration veloc-
ity and enveloped acceleration data from
machinery in remote or hard-to-reach loca-
tions. The collected data can then be trend-
ed in the SKF MARLIN data manager and/or
SKF @ptitude Analyst software. The com-
pact, lightweight unit is a cost-effective, safe
solution for expanding your vibration moni-
toring efforts.
Add value and analysis power
to your program
The VibPak lets you take advantage of the
systems you already have in place to facili-
tate more comprehensive monitoring of
plant equipment. The VibPak collects data
from most standard 100 mV/g industrial
accelerometers. It’s small size fits in loca-
tions not easily reached with a standard
vibration instrument. The VibPak also col-
lects vibration data from permanently
mounted accelerometers or, in remote loca-

The VibPak unit also allows for acceleration
output, which enables users to plug CMSS
6190L Audio Headphones directly into the
VibPak and listen to bearing noise at the
sensor or via the BNC box. The headphones
make it possible to filter out general factory
noise and focus only on the sound of the
bearing to facilitate detection of impending
bearing or machine problems.
