ACCOUNT OPENING REQUIREMENTS: NGO

 A form of identity of shareholders/directors/signatories to the account. Either

a passport, driving license or voters Identity card (originals and photocopies)
 One passport size picture of the signatories to the account
 Proof of residential address of shareholders/directors/signatories with any of
the following would suffice:
A utility bill not more than three months old (water/electricity bill bearing their
names and residential address (not a post office box). If the name on the bill is
that of their spouse, landlord or employer, then please let us have a letter from
that person confirming their relationship and the address stated.
In the case of their spouse, a copy of their marriage certificate would be
acceptable, and in the case of their landlord, a copy of the tenancy agreement would
suffice. (Originals and photocopies)
 Originals and photocopies of documents listed behind the account opening form.
 Proof of your company’s address with a utility bill not more than three months
(water/electricity bill bearing your company’s name). If the name on the bill is
not that of your company, then please let us have a letter from that person
confirming your company’s relationship and the address stated. Or a copy of
Notice of Registered Office and Postal Address bearing the stamp of the
Registrar of Companies would suffice.
 Where the shareholder is itself a company, please provide us with proof of its
Registered Address or Principal Place of Business such as the Notice referred
to above
 Completion of the bank’s account opening form
