We are pleased that the 2nd Antibiotics Travel Awards, for doctoral students
and postdoctoral researchers, are live now. The awards will support young
researchers to attend academic conferences of their own choices in 2019.
Nominations and applications will be carefully considered and selected by the
Evaluation Committee comprising senior scientists from the Antibiotics
Editorial Board. Final winners will be awarded 800 Swiss Francs.

AWARDS
FOR DOCTORAL STUDENTS AND POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS

Eligibility
To be eligible to receive a Travel Award, applicants must be:
–– A Ph.D. student or a postdoctoral researcher;
– – Involved in an aspect of antibiotic-related study. You are welcome
from a range of disciplines, including from basic and molecular sciences
through to clinical, epidemiological and relevant social sciences;
–– Planning to attend an academic conference in 2019 with an oral presentation
or a poster.

How to Apply
To complete an application, please provide:
–– A one-page justification letter to include your research focuses, planned
conference, and potential benefits from attendance at the conference;
–– A Curriculum Vitae, appended with a complete list of publications;
–– A one-page signed letter of recommendation from one supervisor;
–– An oral or poster abstract about your research proposed to be presented at
the conference.
