3. Duration:

The students are supposed to submit fortnight reports to their respective guides
on the following dates either through email or in-person.

5. Project Review:
Students are expected to be present on 00.07.2018 for Interim review of
the project work by a panel of faculty.
Students should prepare PowerPoint and they are required to answer the
Queries asked by the panel members.
Attendance is compulsory.
The performance of students during review will be taken for internal marks.
6. Points to Remember:
1. It is an unconditional must that the student is disciplined and well behaved
during the entire period of the summer internship. The college will take any
misconduct whatsoever seriously. The student must remember that he / she
is the ambassador of the college and therefore must show professionalism in
work and behavior.
2. The student is required to furnish the following information within three days
of joining: Name of the industry mentor with email address and mobile phone
number, date of commencement and completion of the project, title of the
project (if any), and name of the company with complete postal address,
landline and website.(Refer Annexure ‘A’ for Joining Report format)
3. The student must maintain an individual daily diary wherein he/she is
required to write daily work / observations related to summer internship
in his/her hand writing. The pages of the diary must be numbered. (Refer
Annexure ‘B’ for Fortnight Report Format)
4. The student must keep the college informed about his/her progress on
fortnightly basis by sending an email to Faculty guide. (Refer Annexure ‘C’
for Fortnight Report Format)
5. The student must ensure that the company guide is fully satisfied by the quality
of his/her efforts. And has to produce suitable document on completing the
project. (Refer Annexure ‘D’ for Summer Internship Project Feedback)
6. At the end of the project, the student must obtain a "Completion
certificate of Summer Internship" from his company which should clearly
state the duration of the training, the project title (if any), the feedback of
the guide etc. This certificate of training can be enclosed in the Final
Project Report. (Refer Annexure ‘E’ for Internship Project Completion
Certificate Format).
7. The format of the organizational study report (Refer Annexure ‘F’) will guide
students to document the information to be collected during the internship.
For better understanding of various processes in the organization, collect /
draw different format / templates used in various transactions /
communications.
8. A check list (Refer Annexure ‘G’) is also provided to understand the nature
of information to be collected. Additional to organizational study if any research
analysis or any other work is done, consult your faculty guide to accommodate
those works in the project report.
9. No two project reports with the same title / content will be accepted. If more
than one student does the project work in the same firm, consult your faculty
guide and differentiate accordingly in the final project report.
10.The student must procure the brochure, annual report, visiting card (of
industry mentor, office bearers in HR) etc. of the corporate to enable
the institute to pursue final placement in the very same organization in
which the student is undergoing summer internship project.
11.The student is required to prepare two hard copies of summer internship
project report (one for the Institute's Library, and another one for himself /
herself) and one soft copy along with scanned copy of project completion
certificate in CD for the COE office. Additional to this, he / she has to give two
photocopies of project completion certificate to respective guides.
12.Mention details of your project in four lines on CD with black permanent
pen marker as example given below

13.The student must submit the original documents like daily diary, filled up
questionnaire and interview details separately with the project report. While
evaluating the project, the faculty guide / external evaluator will go through
the project report and original documents.
14.The student will be required to make power point presentation of project
in the college before a panel of faculty members during the interim review.
