I have made contact with the vendor that holds the Rental Equipment BPA
for El Paso Sector and he is looking at what it would take to get a
concrete pump truck to Columbus ASAP. I have asked him to provide me
with information on any premium we may need to pay to get the truck to
Columbus faster, quicker, etc. He is going to work on this over the
weekend. As soon as I get the information I will forward.

Gentlemen,

I have contacted (b) (6) of the PDT. (b) (6) has confirmed there are
available funds. She is diligently working on securing and coordinating
the site placement of the cement pumping truck.
(b) (6) will advise all addressees of progress.

Regards,
Roy

Rowdy,
EPT needs a pump truck to finish project. Can they rent one for use by
Seabees? They need to know pretty quick. Unknown costs but needed.
Please advise.

Roy

Please find out what we need to do to get a pump truck. The project is
not complete until the concrete is in. Please make these inquiries
yourself with either the PDT or SBI at HQOBP.

Thanks

Daily El Paso PF-70 Columbus Fence report attached for review.

Snapshot for 09/06/2007

All,

09/5/2007 Evening shift OBP Agents fabricated 5 panels and conducted

site clean up and equipment inventory.

Today: 0 Seabees on dayshift. 18 OBP Agents on evening shift.

Seabees poured 7 yards of concrete prior to standing down for the

weather.

Evening shift OBP Agents were unable to reach the fence due to wet
unstable roadways. The weather hampered efforts today. Agents
consolidated materials and graded the fabrication yard area. 30% chance
of rain predicted through the weekend.

Two panels and the gate remain to be installed south of the corrals
area.

Seabees plan on utilizing a "ground hog" for grouting the bollards.

They anticipate this process to last several weeks. Chief (b) (6)
believes this time would be cut by two thirds using a pump truck. At
OBP005896

this time he does not expect approval to procure one.

Below I have amended the total remaining to complete the "1/2 mile
option" as reported by the Seabees and DHS QC Crandall.

Total PPB installed today - 0 Lin. Ft.

Cumulative PPB installed to date - 15,853 Lin. Ft.

Total 3 mile PPB remaining to be installed - 0 Lin. Ft.

Total "Half mile option" remaining to be installed - 1580 Lin. Ft.

55 panels of fence are staged near the install site.

An additional 1600 pieces of steel remain to be delivered. This

additional steel will be used to complete the additional .3 mile.
Seabees report they do not have a date for delivery.

PF-70 Columbus Fence Project maintains 18 detailed OBP Agents. 2 DNM

detailers departed for OBP training.

Thank you
