About the class


I’m very excited to welcome you all to my 6th grade English
Language Arts classroom.

I have an exciting year planned, filled with a variety of


activities and experiences designed to engage and enrich all
students. This class is designed to help prepare all students to
be more effective readers and writers. Students will participate
in the Writer’s Workshop this year and our focus will be on the
production of strong writing pieces. Students will be exposed
to multiple genres throughout the year. We will read novels,
