6.1 General

In general, see scheme: Faults and their effects on the electric systems.

The following table deals with repeated customer problems, and is based on our
experience with mooring operations.

Source effect 1 Mech. drive

2 Check if power lamp (6H1) is “ON”. 2 Check that emergency button is pulled
If not check fuse (6F1) and incoming power. out.
3 Check that all fuses inside cabinet are “OK”. Check if control switch (8S2) is turned

B Insufficient 1 If running in 3rd step and tension pull is over 1 Check that the control pedestal shows
50% the speed is reduced to 2nd step (For correct operation mode.
speed mooring only).
speed 2 Check if there is a signal from the load cell 2 Open loop from the load cell gives a
when pulling torque constant failure signal at the pedestal.
speed 3 Check input signal from manoeuvring 3 Check signal from manoeuvring joystick

speed 4 Check that the motor brake is released. 4
speed 8 Anchor is less than 5 meters from ship side 8 Gives blinking on the anchor lamp
torque 5 In mooring the torque is limited to 110% 5 Check indicating value on the pedestal.
torque 6 In anchor the torque is limited to 150% 6 Check indicating value on the pedestal.
