Promo period:
• The Promo will run from 03 June 2019 to 31 August 2019 (“Promo Period”).

Qualified CIMB Bank Philippines accounts:

• All account holders Fast, Fast Plus, UpSave, GSave who transact using their OCTO by
CIMB App are qualified to join OCTO’s Gadget Giveaway (“Promo”).

Eligibility:
• The OCTO’s Gadget Giveaway is open to all CIMB Bank Philippines customers who
have at least one savings account with CIMB Bank Philippines or a GSave account;
except for direct employees of CIMB Bank Philippines.

Promo period:
1. The promo will run from the 3rd of June (12:00a.m.) to 31st of August (11:59p.m.)
2019, both dates inclusive.
2. Cut-off period for acquiring entries will be on 31st of August 2019 (11:59PM).
3. There will be one (1) electronic raffle draw every month for three (3) months.

• The e-raffle entry qualification period and corresponding draw dates are presented
below. E-raffle entries earned from the beginning of the promo period will be carried
over to the succeeding e-raffle draw until the end of the promo period as long as: (a)
the money deposited to acquire the e-raffle entries are not withdrawn from the bank
account (b) the customer has not won a Samsung Galaxy S10.

Philippines Headquarters located at the 28th Flr, Ore Central Building, 31st street

presence of a DTI representative.

How to win electronic raffle entry/ies:

• Eligible CIMB Bank Philippines customers with at least one savings account (Fast,
Fast Plus, UpSave, GSave) shall earn corresponding randomly assigned electronic

• If a customer has not won a Samsung Galaxy S10, e-raffle entries earned from
eligible transactions and not related to maintaining balance (e.g. PesoNet deposit,
Bills Payment, Mobile Reload, etc.) will be carried over to the succeeding qualification
periods without need to transact again.

• If a customer wins a runner-up prize, his/her winning e-raffle entry will be deducted
in the total e-raffle entries which will be carried over to the succeeding qualification
period.

Entry Notification:
• Customers will receive an SMS notification of earned e-raffle entries every week from
the launch of the promo.

Invalid entries/disqualification:
The following shall not be qualified to join the promo and win any prizes:

1. Entries sent by direct employees of CIMB Bank Philippines are disqualified from
joining the promotion.

2. Entries made before and after the promo period are deemed invalid.

3. Entries that did not meet the minimum deposit requirement of five hundred pesos
(PHP500) are deemed invalid.

4. Entries earned from funds deposited but are withdrawn before the end of each
qualification period.

5. Employees of the promoting agency, Mobext Inc., are disqualified from joining the
promotion.

6. CIMB Bank Philippines reserves the right to verify eligibility of participants and
validity of entries acquired. All decisions made by CIMB Bank Philippines in relation
to the raffle promo with concurrence to DTI are final and irrevocable. No
correspondence will be entertained.

7. CIMB Bank Philippines reserves the right to disqualify any participant and/or entry
that does not comply with the criteria stated in the Terms and Conditions of OCTO’s
Gadget Giveaway.

8. CIMB Bank Philippines reserves the right to forfeit prizes from any participant who
has breached any of the Terms and Conditions of OCTO’s Gadget Giveaway.

Prizes to be given away

• In this raffle promo, there will be a total of 123 winners. Specifically, there will be:
o Twelve (12) customers who will each win a new Samsung Galaxy S10
o Twenty-four (24) winners of JBL Focus 100 earphones
o Twenty-four (24) winners of OCTO power banks
o Sixty-three (63) winners of OCTO by CIMB Bank plushies
• All prizes are non-transferrable and non-convertible to cash.

Raffle Draw, Verification Process, and Determination of Winners:

a. Representatives of CIMB Bank Philippines and the Department of Trade and Industry
shall be present in the determination of winners.
b. CIMB Bank Philippines shall generate a list of entries based on the total number of
entries received within the raffle period.

Notification of Winner:
• Each raffle winner will be notified by CIMB Bank Philippines through SMS and will be
sent a notification letter to his/her registered mailing/home address within ten (10)
banking days.

Announcement of Winner:
• The list of winners will be posted at CIMB Bank Philippines’ social media page
(Facebook) and CIMB Bank Philippines website within twenty (20) banking days after
the e-raffle draw.

Claiming of prize:

For winners of the Samsung Galaxy S10:

a. Each winner will receive written notification letter along with instructions on how to
claim their prize from CIMB Bank Philippines representatives on his/her registered
mail.
b. Samsung Galaxy S10 winners RESIDING IN METRO MANILA are required to claim
their prize in the CIMB Bank Philippines headquarters located at 28 th Flr. Ore Central
Building, 9th avenue corner 31st street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Philippines.
1.1 Winner must present the following when claiming the prize:
a. Written notification letter sent by CIMB Bank Philippines to his/her registered
email. and
b. *Two (2) government-issued valid IDs (with photo and signature) upon
claiming the prizes.
1.2 The winner will be given sixty (60) calendar days to claim the prize from receipt
of the notification letter. Unclaimed prizes may be, with the approval of DTI, forfeited
favoring CIMB Bank Philippines.

c. Samsung Galaxy S10 winners RESIDING OUTSIDE OF METRO MANILA have two
options in claiming their prize:

OPTION 1: Prize can be claimed in the CIMB Bank Philippines headquarters located at
28th Flr. Ore Central Building, 9th avenue corner 31st street, Bonifacio Global City,
Taguig, Philippines.

2.1 Winner must present the following when claiming the prize:
c. Written notification letter sent by CIMB Bank Philippines to his/her registered
email. and
d. *Two (2) government-issued valid IDs (with photo and signature) upon
claiming the prizes.
2.2 The winner will be given sixty (60) calendar days to claim the prize from receipt
of the notification letter. Unclaimed prizes may be, with the approval of DTI, forfeited
favoring CIMB Bank Philippines.

OPTION 2: Prize item can be shipped to the winner’s address registered in the bank.
Winner will also be provided the option to change the registered address the prize will be
delivered to. If the winner wishes to change the address, CIMB reserves the right to ask
the customer of other pertinent information about their CIMB Bank account in order to
confirm their identity.

3.1 Winner will receive a message from courier service provider confirming the date
of delivery. Winner must be at home on the date of delivery for the prize to be
delivered— the prize will not be dropped off without the winner’s signature. The
Samsung S10 prize will be covered by insurance in case the courier loses the
item—insurance fee covered by CIMB Bank Philippines.
3.2 Winner must present the following when claiming the prize:
e. Written notification letter sent by CIMB Bank Philippines to his/her registered
email. and
f. *Two (2) government-issued valid IDs (with photo and signature) upon
claiming the prizes.
3.3 In case a winner will send a representative to claim the prize on his/her behalf,
the representative must present the following:
a. Written notification letter sent by CIMB Bank Philippines to the winner’s
registered email.
b. Authorization Letter from the winner (with signature of winner);
c. *Two (2) government-issued valid IDs (list of accepted government-issued
valid IDs listed below) with photo and signature of the Representative; and
d. Photocopy of *one (1) government-issued valid ID (list of accepted
government-issued valid IDs listed below) with photo and signature of the
Winner.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. The customer's accounts must be active (not closed or blocked) during the whole
promo period, the time of the draw, and until the claiming of the raffle prize.
2. Deposited money which earned the winning e-raffle entries must stay inside the bank
(not withdrawn either partially or fully) during the whole e-raffle earning qualification
period to be included in the corresponding e-raffle draw.
3. Raffle prizes are not transferrable and not convertible to cash. Taxes shall be
shouldered by CIMB Bank Philippines.
4. By depositing, activating debit card, and upgrade/applying for an UpSave account in
CIMB Bank Philippines during the promo period, the customer agrees to his/her
inclusion in the promo. In the event a customer does not want to have his/her name
published in CIMB Bank Philippines social media and website, he/she should inform
CIMB Bank Philippines with three (3) days upon getting the SMS and registered
email mail from CIMB Bank Philippines.
5. The winner authorizes CIMB Bank Philippines to disclose and publish their name and
photos with the prize (if the customer claimed the prize in CIMB Headquarters) as
deemed appropriate by CIMB Bank Philippines and the disclosure and publication
shall not constitute violation of Bank Secrecy Laws.
