BASIC HAND TOOLS

 BORING TOOLS

 is the process of enlarging a hole that has already been drilled (or cast), by means of
a single-point cutting tool (or of a boring head containing several such tools), for
example as in boring a gun barrel or an engine cylinder. Boring is used to achieve
greater accuracy of the diameter of a hole, and can be used to cut a tapered hole.
Boring can be viewed as the internal-diameter counterpart to turning, which cuts
external diameters.

 There are various types of boring. The boring bar may be supported on both ends
(which only works if the existing hole is a through hole), or it may be supported at
one end (which works for both through holes and blind
holes). Lineboring (line boring, line-boring) implies the
former. Backboring (back boring, back-boring) is the process of reaching through an
existing hole and then boring on the "back" side of the workpiece (relative to the
machine headstock).

 RV HIM-DRILL
 use for boring holes(s) in plastic or metal chassis with the use of drill bits have size
1/6" approximately 1/4".
 a hand tool, power tool, or machine with a rotating cutting tip or
reciprocating hammer or chisel, used for making holes
 PROTABLE ELECTRIC DRILL
 is a tool fitted with a cutting tool attachment or driving tool attachment, usually a drill
bit or driver bit, used for boring holes in various materials or fasteningvarious
materials together with the use of fasteners. The attachment is gripped by a chuck at
one end of the drill and rotated while pressed against the target material. The tip, and
sometimes edges, of the cutting tool does the work of cutting into the target material.
This may be slicing off thin shavings (twist drills or auger bits), grinding off small
particles (oil drilling), crushing and removing pieces of the workpiece (SDS masonry
drill), countersinking, counterboring, or other operation

 METAL FILES
 is a metalworking, woodworking and plastic working tool used to cut fine amounts of
material from a work piece. It most commonly refers to the hand toolstyle, which
takes the form of a steel bar with a case hardened surface and a series of sharp,
parallel teeth. Most files have a narrow, pointed tang at one end to which a handle
can be fitted.
 FLAT FILE
 a steel hand tool with small sharp teeth on some or all of its surfaces; used for
smoothing wood or metal

 HALF ROUND FILE

 A file having one side in the shape of a segment of a circle and the other flat.
 ROUND FILE
 A round file is a wood or metalworking hand tool of cylindrical cross section that is
used to remove small amounts of material from a work piece. Round files typically
consist of a long tapered body and a pointed square tang at one end for attaching a
handle. The body of the file is cut with a series of parallel ridges which remove
material from the work piece when the file is drawn across it. These files are most
commonly used to deburr or remove material from the inside surfaces of cylindrical
work pieces or to cut half round grooves. Round files are available in a large
selection of sizes and tooth pitches to suit a variety of applications and materials.

 CUTTING TOOLS
 is any tool that is used to remove material from the workpiece by means of shear
deformation. Cutting may be accomplished by single-point or multipoint tools. Single-
point tools are used in turning, shaping, plaining and similar operations, and remove
material by means of one cutting edge. Milling and drilling tools are often multipoint
tools. Grinding tools are also multipoint tools. Each grain of abrasive functions as a
microscopic single-point cutting edge (although of high negative rake angle), and
shears a tiny chip.
 UTILITY KNIFE
 a knife with a small sharp blade, often retractable, designed to cut wood,
cardboard, and other materials.

 HACK SAW
 is a fine-toothed saw, originally and principally for cutting metal. They can also cut
various other materials, such as plastic and wood; for
example, plumbers and electricians often cut plastic pipe and plastic conduit with
them. There are hand saw versions and powered versions (power hacksaws).
AUXILLARY TOOLS

 MANIFYING GLASS
 a lens that produces an enlarged image, typically set in a frame with a handle and
used to examine small or finely detailed things such as fingerprints, stamps, and fine
print.

PAINT BRUSH
 is a tool with bristles, wire or other filaments, used for cleaning, grooming hair, make
up, painting, surface finishing and for many other purposes. It is one of the most
basic and versatile tools known to mankind, and the average household may contain
several dozen varieties
 DRIVING TOOLS
 include a variety of steel tools used to install, repair and maintain a variety
of constructions. Drivers are used to drill, insert and drive screws, nuts and
bolts into surfaces with mechanical and manual force

 SCREWDRIVERS
 is a tool, manual or powered, for turning (driving or removing) screws. A typical
simple screwdriver has a handle and a shaft, and a tip that the user inserts into the
screw head to turn it. The shaft is usually made of tough steel to resist bending or
twisting.

 SLOTTED SCREWDRIVERS
 screw drive has a single slot in the fastener head and is driven by a "common blade"
or flat-bladed screwdriver. It was the first type of screw drive to be developed, and for centuries it
was the simplest and cheapest to make. The slotted screw is common in
simple woodworking applications, but is not often seen in applications where a power tool would be
used because a power driver tends to slip out of the head and p damage the surrounding material
 PHILIPS SCREWDRIVERS
 The Phillips-head ("crosshead") screw

 SOLDERING TOOLS
 is a process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and
flowing a filler metal (solder) into the joint, the filler metal having a lower melting
point than the adjoining metal. Soldering differs from welding in that soldering does
not involve melting the work pieces. In brazing, the filler metal melts at a higher
temperature, but the work piece metal does not melt.
 SOLDERING IRON

 is a hand tool used in soldering. It supplies heat to melt solder so that it can flow into
the joint between two workpieces.

A soldering iron is composed of a heated metal tip and an insulated handle. Heating
is often achieved electrically, by passing an electric current (supplied through an
electrical cord or battery cables) through a resistive heating element. Cordless irons
can be heated by combustion of gas stored in a small tank, often using acatalytic
heater rather than a flame. Simple irons less commonly used than in the past were
simply a large copper bit on a handle, heated in a flame.
 SOLDERING IRON STAND
 a soldering iron stand is used to keep the hot soldering iron away from you and
the work area. A soldering iron stand is made out of metal and comes with a
cleaning sponge to clean.

 SOLDERING TOOLS

 is a hand tool used in soldering. It supplies heat to melt solder so that it can flow into
the joint between two workpieces.
 LONG NOSEWIRE STRIPPER
 This allows the user to match the notch size to the wire size, thereby
eliminating the need for twisting. Once the device is clamped on, the remainder of
the wire can simply be pulled out, leaving the insulation behind.

 SIDE CUTTER
he plane defined by the cutting edges of the jaws intersects the joint rivet at an
angle or "on a diagonal", hence the name.
 WIRE STRIPPER JEWELERS SCREWDRIVERS
 wire stripper is a pair of opposing blades much like scissors or wire cutters. The
addition of a center notch makes it easier to cut the insulation without cutting the
wire. This type of wire stripper is used by rotating it around the insulation while
applying pressure in order to make a cut around the insulation. Since the insulation is
not bonded to the wire, it then pulls easily off the end. This is the most versatile type
of wire stripper

 JEWELERS SCREWDRIVERS
 is a very small screwdriver, sometimes called aprecision screwdriver, and includes
other fine-work tools such as eyeglass screwdrivers. These are more useful for fine
work, such as electronics, eyeglasses, watches and jewelry. They are also useful for
specialized tasks, such as prying the retaining clip free from an angle drive nut. Such
screwdrivers like can be found at hardware stores and electronics component stores
like Radio Shack, although usually they are
calledminiature or precision screwdrivers.
