INTRODUCTION

Entrepreneurship is a proactive process of developing a business venture to make a profit.

In entrepreneurship it involves seeking opportunities for a market, establishing and operating a

business out of the opportunity, and assessing its risk and rewards through close monitoring of

the operations. Through entering business world, we choose food industry. Food industry is one

of the common and trending business nowadays. It is also one of the easiest industries because of

the resources that we have and also in this industry we could come up with many ideas and

innovation to upgrade the common product that we have in our country or place.

The entrepreneurs choose the product Cruffy Pancake, Ang pancake na sa unang kagat

langhap mo na ang sarap. Our product is pancake with oreo inside, some sprinkles, chocolate

chip, honey syrup and then deep fried.

Our business name comes from combined Crunchy and Fluffy oreo pancake. We come

up with this product because of the crunchiness of oreo and fluffiness of pancake. To innovate

the common taste and look of the pancake. We choose this business because it is easy to prepare

and to cook. The ingredients are also easy to find and convenient.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ENTERPRISE

Nature of the Project


To start the business, the entrepreneurs contributed P 30.00 each. The Project started with
a capital of P240, which is used to purchase raw materials for Cruffy Pancake (pancake mixed,
egg, oreo cookies, sprinkles, transportation).
Marketing and production of Oreo Cookies and Pancake mixed is the main purpose of the
project. The product Oreo cookies which is also called “Cruffy Pancake” came from the concept
of Crunchiness of the Oreo cookies together of Pancake mixed.

Objectives of the Project


The following objectives will help to achieve the goals of the project:
1. Reach the maximum profit within a period of 5 days
2. Achieve customer satisfaction through quality products and services;
3. Avoid conflicts and problems through customer feedbacks

Time and Place of the Project


The business operation happened on September 24 and 25, 2018. This business will run
for three days in one week at Saint Gregory Academy, San Gregorio Poblacion 1 Indang, Cavite.
The business will stock up their inventory every day of the business operation.

Organization and Management
Proper organization and management is one of the key to make the business more
successful. Management is the organization and coordination of activities of a business in order
to achieve definite objectives; while organization is a social unit of people that is structured and
manage to meet a need or to pursue collective goals. Each member should understand their duties
and responsibilities regarding finance, marketing, sales, production and business administration,
for good decision making. Entrepreneurs will be assigned to different responsibilities for the
smooth flow of the business operation.
The entrepreneur, Ms. Francheska Daniella Sosa with Ms. Precious Joy Tanamor will
be the Production Manager. They are responsible in planning and organizing of production
schedules; assessing projects and resource requirements; selecting, ordering and purchasing of
materials; and organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment. Ms.
Anna Marie Dilidili and Mr. Jayson Romanes will be the Sales Managers. They are
responsible in managing the sales of the company’s products and services within a defined
geographic area, province or country. They will ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales
revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. And they
are responsible in identifying the objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and
long-term sales and earnings. The entrepreneurs, Ms. Kianna Vidar and Rina Emelo will be
the Finance Managers who are responsible in properly recording of daily sales and expenses in
buying of all the raw materials needed. Ms. Maria Antonette Samson be the Marketing
Managers who are responsible in development of marketing strategies such as developing
promotional tools like leaflets, tarpaulins, posters, and package layout. Mr. Kyle Cedrick Alano
will be the Business Administrators. They are responsible for the overall supervision of the
project and production of the business.

Time Table of Activities


The preparation of the business plan will be done at the 2nd week of September until the
4th week of September. The actual operation of the business, that will be done from the third
week of September until the 4th week of September included the procurement of raw materials
used in the actual operation, selling of products, quality assurance and inventory monitoring
were done continuously throughout the business operation.

Production
Production is the most crucial function in a business. This process defines the quality of
the product. The entrepreneurs will do the production activities like purchasing of raw materials,
tools and equipment, preparation of raw materials, and the actual processing and packaging of
the products.

Purchasing of Raw Materials.


The entrepreneurs will purchase all the needed raw materials in producing Cruffy
Pancake including eggs, Pancake mixed, Sprinkles, and oil. The raw materials used in all
products will be purchase in AlfaMart because of its accessibility in the production site. The raw
materials will be purchasing one day before the day we sell it to preserve the freshness of the
ingredients in the actual product. Indirect materials such as tissue will also be purchase in
AlfaMart.

Purchasing of Tools and Equipment.


The tools that the entrepreneurs will use are Casserole, Tupperware, Frying pan, Frying
tongs and gas stove. There are tools that will be borrowed to lessen the expenses. The supplies
that the entrepreneurs will use is tissue.

Production Process.
Cruffy Pancake will follow a step by step process in the production of their products. The
production process includes different activities like, preparing of the raw materials, tools and
equipment; cooking or the processing; packaging; and serving.

The necessary ingredients such as Pancake mixed, water will be prepared first.
Mixing all the ingredients.
Mix all the ingredients such as flour, egg and water. After mixing, dip the Oreo cookies
in the bowl
Frying of Cruffy Pancake.
When everything was prepared, put oil on the frying pan. When it is hot, dip the Oreo
Cookies with Pancake mixed.

Marketing. Marketing is an organizational function and a set of processes for creating,


capturing, communicating and delivering value to customers and for managing customer
relationships in ways that benefit the organization and its stakeholders.
Product. The fundamental purpose of marketing is o create value by developing a variety of
offerings, including goods, services and ideas to satisfy customer needs. Cruffy Pancake will be
engage in production and selling of their products which are Pancake with the twist of Oreo
Cookies
Price. In marketing, price is the capturing value. It is everything a buyer gives up in exchange
for the product. In selling a product, price is an important aspect of marketing that entrepreneurs
must consider. In setting a price entrepreneur should determine all the costs, and ensure that they
can gain profit. It should match the quality of the product offered and must be an affordable price
on the part of the customers.
Place. It describes all activities necessary to get the product to the right customer when the customer
wants it.
The entrepreneurs decided to put the business in Saint Gregory Academy, San Gregorio St.
Brgy 1 Indang, Cavite. Most of the customers are the students and teachers.

Initial Capital Investment. Cruffy Pancake will start their business with a capital of P240.Each
entrepreneur will contribute an amount of P30 to achieve the needed capital to start the business.
The contributed amount will be used to buy all the raw materials, supplies, tools and equipment
needed in business operation.
