PRE-LESSON 2. Pupils look at the word or words on their strip of paper.
3. Pupils find 2 other partners to make up a complete team of abbreviation.

4. Pupils run and paste completed strips onto the table on the wall.

1. Pupils are given a worksheet containing items from Exercise E (a plan for
writing an email)
2. In groups of 6, using 2 talking chips each, pupils write sample sentences for
each item (Greeting: Hi Uncle Sam)
3. Once the worksheet is completed, pupils number the sentences in the
correct order.
4. Pupils write out the 2 versions of the email. Attention to be given to
punctuation.
5. Gallery walk.
In the spotlight
1. 5 pupils are called randomly to answer a question each on the lesson.
POST LESSON 2. The other pupils jot on their mini whiteboards whether they agree or
disagree with the answer.
3. Pupils who disagree justify their opinions.
