Welcome to An-Nur, Jawad.

This is your first few days at an-nur & I am getting

to know you. During the settling time, you may

find it hard to be away from your Mum & Dad, but

it wont take long and you will be so busy, you will

soon think of An-Nur as a second home!

The story so far…

You are learning about your new environment. Today I have seen you communicate with

teachers by pointing to things that interested you and then you were happy to lead the teach-

ers by the hand. You were keen to be involved with the other children and welcomed them by

giving your hand to shake, our boys can be a bit boisterous, you were unsure of joining in

with them! When your Dad collected you told him in Arabic, that An-nur is a

beautiful place! We think your beautiful to Jawad!

you are observing the other children & teachers. At the moment you feel

safe being beside a teacher. Soon you will be making lots of new friendships

and growing your confidence. You will be learning a lot in the beginning of

your time here, new routines, new faces, new spaces and objects. You are beginning to feel
