EQT Partners Quick Reference Guide New User Request

Ticket Resolution and Escalation Process


 Intended Audience: RFMS EU team
 Purpose: To define new user ticket requested response and request for information
 Typical scenarios includes :
» Ticket submission regarding creation of a new user

1. User sends a support request to RFMS EU support system

2. RFMS staff reviews the request and replies with the following requests:

Dear <user name>,

Thank you for your submission to the EQT support portal. Please see attached the User Setup Form
Template file with the following information to be completed and sent back to us.

 First Name
 Last Name
 Email
 Model/clone user

Once we have received this information, we will create the user id and email the user their login
credentials.

3. RFMS deactivates accounts no longer required and creates the new user accounts in Production (not in
Staging unless requested), according to the New User Creation Instructions

4. RFMS will then notify the requester of the open account via the Additional Comments field in ServiceNow,
adding the account holder to the watch list (if they are not the requester). The standard response below
should be updated where there are [square brackets] and pasted into Additional Comments, with the
following attachments:

Dear [XX],

A new user-account has been created for you on the EQT Yardi system. Please select the URL below and
enter your user credentials accordingly:

Yardi URL: https://www.yardiaspuk12.com/12258eqtab/pages/LoginAdvanced.aspx

Username: xxx

Password: This will be provided in a separate email.

Database: LIVE

Password Requirements

You will be prompted to change your password when you first log in. You can also change your
password at a later date by navigating to Administration>Change Password.

Your new password should meet the following requirements:


 At least 9 characters
 Has not been used in the previous 6 passwords
 At least 1 uppercase character (A through Z)
 At least 1 lowercase character (a through z)
 At least 1 numeric character (0 through 9)
Please note that your password is case sensitive.

***Yardi requires you to change your password every 90 days. Your account will be deactivated if you
fail to login during any 90 day period.
