etc.). Here, you will view the Standard Number, Title, Scope and the Price of the Uganda Standard.

How to make Payments

UGANDAN CLIENTS

The following steps must be followed during the billing and issuing of Bank Payment Advice Forms (BPAFs) to Clients to
pay for UNBS services through URA e-platform:-
1. Log into URA Website/Home Page www.ura.go.ug

2. Go to e-Services
3. Select Payment Registration option
4. Select Other NTR option.
5. Select Uganda National Bureau of Standards under Ministries/Departments/Agencies (Be alert not to pick UBOS)
6. Select the Department whose services are being billed (Standards Department).
7. Select the Category of fees under that Department. (Sale of standards)
8. Select the Tax Head/Service being paid for. (Standards)
9. Go to Fees Calculation and enter amount under Additional Fees if Applicable in UGX.
10. Enter the TIN number of Client/person paying.
11. Select Mode of Payment e.g. Cash or Mobile Payment
12. Select Preferred Commercial Bank under URA Bankers Name.
13. Confirm your transaction by entering text in default image generated.
14. Accept and Register your Payment
15. Reconfirm by clicking OK.
16. Print Bank Payment Advice Form – 2 copies ideal for client.

N.B – You must pay the amount due within the shortest time possible as this assessment will expire within a few
weeks.
Make sure the email address you register is valid for your email account and matches with the email address for your
TIN.

INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS

DEPOSIT THE DOLLAR EQUIVALENTS ON THE UNBS DOLLAR ACCOUNT (PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SYSTEM WILL
AUTOMATICALLY CALCULATE THE DOLLAR EQUIVALENT ACCORDING TO THE PREVAILING BANK OF UGANDA
RATE AND ALL RELATED BANK CHARGES)

7. Confirm your order

9. Upon payment, log in, check my orders and upload the payment slip of send the Payment Reference
Number (PRN).

10. After Payment is confirmed, a licensed copy of purchased Uganda Standard(s) will be sent to the
client's email address provided at registration.
