Hours are 9:30-11:30 AM weekdays for
the month (no weekends or holidays).
Work a day, a week, or the entire month!
Shirley Frowick will be coordinating
volunteers, so help her out by signing up
on the Registration Slip TODAY!

SCHOOL KITS
School Kits contain
essential supplies to help
continued learning, Each
school kit should contain:
FOUR 70-sheet notebooks of wide- or
college-ruled paper, approximately
8” x 10 ½”; no loose leaf paper
ONE 30-centimeter ruler, or a ruler with
centimeters on one side and inches on
the other
ONE pencil sharpener
ONE pair of blunt scissors (safety scissors
with embedded steel blades work well)
FIVE unsharpened #2 pencils with erasers;
secure together with a rubber band
FIVE black or blue ballpoint pens (no gel
ink); secure together with a rubber band
ONE box of 16 or 24 crayons
ONE 2 ½” eraser
Watch for the washtub in the west
hallway to leave your donations.

FILL THE CART
This year, instead of a
peanut butter pyramid,
we’re going to
encourage you to “Fill
the Cart”! Since
September is St. John’s month to serve
at the Norfolk Food Pantry, we are asking
you to be more generous with your food
donations and fill one cart with peanut
butter. Of course, keep those other non-
perishable food items coming!

Now is the time to consider lending your
voice to our Majesty Choir!
First rehearsal for this new season will be

We would love to see you all!
The Lions Club parade is Saturday,
Sept. 21, at 10 AM. St. John’s will again
have a float (trolley) and are asking all
who would like to ride in the parade to
meet at church at 8:30 AM or on the
street in front of the Norfolk High School
at 10 AM. Hope to see you there!

YOUTH CAR WASH

On Sept. 8 during Fellowship Hour, we

will be bagging the spices for the soup
mix to go to the Norfolk Food Pantry. We
would like about 6 people to help with
this God’s Work, Our Hands task. Just
watch for the table at the back of the
Fellowship Hall next Sunday.
