Scene 1: Alarm clock rings (horning)

Crystal lying on the bed as she tries to turn off the alarm clock and Yvonne enters the room to wake
her up.

Crystal: (Sounds sleepy) Oh! 5 more minutes please! (Off the alarm clock)

(Yvonne enters the room)

Yvonne: (Trying to wake up Crystal) Hey! Wake up sis!

Crystal: I'm still sleepy. I’m not feeling well.

Yvonne: Liar! Not feeling well because of him again.

Crystal: Shut up!

Yvonne: I'll shut my mouth if you get up there and get dressed! You don’t want to be the center of
attention, don’t you? *glares

Crystal: Whatever! (Rolls on the other side of the bed) leave me alone.

Yvonne: (singing) " I remember the days when you're here with me."

Crystal: Stop that! I' m getting up! Okay?

Yvonne: (laughs) (go outside) Good! Hurry Up!

Crystal: (Fixing the bed)

(FLASHBACK)...

Flashback #1

(Patrick surprised Crystal with flowers)

Patrick: Surprise! Happy 4th anniversary Love! I love you.

Crystal: Thank you! I never though we've come this far. I love you too!

Patrick: Silly. I'm your "forever" right? I know I’m not perfect and I’m so lucky to have someone like
you. I keep on asking God if what have I done so good because he let me have someone so perfect as
you are. I can’t wait to start forever with you Hon.

Crystal: You'll never leave me? Stop with the cheesy talks. I’m gonna die *laughs
Patrick: I won't. Promise! (Pinky finger)

(END FLASHBACK)

Scene 2: Back to reality

*Background music: How could you say you love me*

Crystal: You told me, you're my forever right? But where are you now? (-> looking at their pictures)

I thought you'll never leave me. But... but you betrayed me!

(Scream) (Music stops here)

(Clarice enters the room)

Clarice: What's happening? Why did you scream? You scared the hell out of me!

Crystal: Nothing mom. It’s just that…

Clarice: You sure? Are you alright?

Crystal: I'm fine. Maybe getting hurt is really part of loving. How dumb could I be Mom? (Sobs)

Clarice: Oh! You're crying again. Stop that! Take a moment to realize how blessed you are. Your
world isn't revolving around that jerk!

Crystal: But mom, I love him that much, I wanna die.

Clarice: Don't say that! Just forget about him. He's not worth it. Sometimes it's best not to care.

Crystal: I can't live my life without him. He is my life. He promised me forever.

Clarice: Yes, you can. You just need to believe you can! Positive thinking leads to positive outcome!
Forever doesn’t exist.

Crystal: But how? Trying to forget someone you love is like trying to remember someone you never

Scene 3 (Room)

Yvonne: (knocks the door) Can I come in?

Crystal: Sure, what do you want?

Yvonne: Nothing I just want to tell you that I'm always here for you though I didn't know what really
happened between you and that son of a bitch Mike.

Crystal: Thanks sis!

Yvonne: Uhmm... Ate, what happened with you and Mike? Why did you break up?

Crystal: Are you sure you want to know what happened?

Yvonne: Yeah. If you don't mind answering I also don't mind listening.

Crystal: Well, Mike was my second boyfriend. He helped me forget my ex-boyfriend. He courted me
for 6 months, I thought he's really the one for me but as time goes by, he changed. He's not the
sweet and caring one that I used to know. Then one day I just learned that after all these years, he's
still in love with his ex. I'm just a rebound. His ex girlfriend came back to him and he left me because
of her.

FLASHBACK #2 (break up scene) (Puro) (Crystal sitting on the rocks)

Crystal: We need to talk. I notice everything. I just act like I don't.

Patrick: Saaam. Wait. (Run to Crystal) (Crystal looks back) Can't we talk? I'll go to your house later.

Scene 6 (House)

(Crystal sits at the sofa)

Clarice: Don't tell me you're going to talk to him.

Crystal: Can I?

happened? Get a grip of yourself.

ENTERS ANGELA.

Angela: Hello everyone? How are you all doing? Did you miss me?

Angela: It's good to be back! So how are you? It's been a while.

Scene 7 (phone call )

Crystal: Hello. I'm expecting you at our usual place. 3 pm!

Crystal: Sorry is not enough. Will your sorry heal all the scars you left?

Crystal: Why did you leave me? Do you really love her that much?

Patrick: I'm really sorry Sam. I don't know the right words to say.

Scene 8: Face off

Henna: So this is it. Everything is clear. You know what Sam? I pity you for three goddamn reasons.

Crystal: You don't know anything you warfreak bitch! ( Crystal attacks Henna then grab her hair )
(Patrick pushed Crystal)

Patrick: Baby are you okay? Are you hurt? (Turns to Crystal). You! How dare you lay your hands on
my fiance! I I don't want to see your face anymore.

Crystal: what?! But she was the first one to slap me!

Patrick: (ignores crystal)(walks out with henna)

Henna: (turns to crystal) you are really insane!(walks away)

Scene 9 (Playground)

Crystal saw two kids playing

*Jayson and Janine running around while holding each other’s hand

Jayson: Hey Jaja! Catch me if you can!

Janine: wait for me Jojo! Jojo!

Jayson: Faster Jaja! (Teasing Janine) catch me if you can! (Stick tongue out)

Suddenly Janine fell off the ground and sobs. Jayson came running.

Janine: Do I look okay? My knee is hurt.

Jayson: What happened to her mom? She looks really lonely.

Ella: Maybe her heart is aching.

Both: (confused look)

Scene 11 (Hangover: Morning)

Crystal: Ouch! My head hurts (touches head) But my heart hurts more.

(Clarice shouts from the kitchen)

Clarice: Get down here Samantha!

Crystal: I'm coming mom! (Saw something on the bed side table) *necklace*

Flashback 4 (The Necklace)

Patrick: I have something for you Sam!

Crystal: What is it Mike?

Patrick: Here! (Shows the necklace) This is the sign of my love for you. Wear this.

Crystal: Ow! Thank you!

(Flashback ends)

Crystal: Your love is a great lie Mike.

Clarice: Samantha!

Crystal: I'm coming!

(Crystal washing the dishes by singing love the way you lie)

Yvonne: Your voice is so annoying!

Crystal: "I love the way you lie"

Yvonne: Ate, stop!

Yvonne: Mom!

Clarice: What?!

Yvonne: Ate Sam got insane!

Angela: Why? What happened?!

Yvonne: I was just joking! I told that a person should die first so that she'll feel no pain gain and then
she took seriously! She said that she's going to kill someone!

Clarice: Oh my gosh! She's out of her mind!

Angela: Call her!

Yvonne: (Dials the telephone) cannot be reached!

Clarice: We need to find her!

(Enters Donnah and Dy)

Donnah: Hi Tita, where's Sam?

Clarice: We don't know we need to find her!

Angela: She said that she's going to kill someone!

Clarice: I know, but she's too hurt and might not be thinking properly! She can do anything!

(Searching for Crystal)

Dy: Did you find her?

Yvonne: No.

Donnah: Let's keep searching!

Clarice: I know a place where she could be. Let's go!

Scene 14 (Church)

Clarice: Maybe she's here.

Angela: I hope so.

(Enters the church)

(They saw Crystal kneeling at the Altar)

Donnah: There she is!

Dy: Yeah. I think she's not planning to do something.

Yvonne: Yeah. She'll never do it.

Donnah: See?! We're just being paranoid.

Clarice: I think we can now go home. Let's go.

Scene 15 (Praying)

Crystal: Lord, I am badly hurt. The one I love betrayed me and left me. It really hurts I can't take it
anymore. I can be right? Forgive me Lord for what I am going to do. I'm going to do this in the name
of love. I'm tired of crying. Forgive me. I want to be happy and I think this is the only solution to my

Crystal: I thought you'll not come.

Henna: Well I'm already here. So what do you want to talk about?

Crystal: It's about Mike.

Henna: What about him? Would you beg me to leave him for you? Well if that's what you want, I'm
sorry but you know my answer already. (About to leave)

Crystal: No!

Henna: (turns back) then what do you want from me?

Crystal: Just take good care of him. Love him more than I did. He's my life but you are his life. I accept
the fact that he doesn't love me anymore but it still hurts really bad.

Henna: What are you talking about?

Crystal: Don't hurt him please. Always be by his side and support him. He loves playing basketball.
Take care of his jersey please? Don't forget that 24 is his favorite number and he loves eating sweets.
Here I made a list of it. There's too many to mention. (Gives a paper to Henna)

Henna: I don't understand you.

Crystal: Someday you will. Tell him I love him and I'm sorry for not being a perfect girlfriend. Bye!

Scene 17 (Goodbye)

(Crystal enters the house)

Clarice: Hey eat your dinner first before you go to sleep.

Crystal: I'll sleep permanently so why bother eating?

Clarice: What are you saying?!

(Slams the door) (Gets the gun)

Angela: (knocks the door) Samantha, get out there! What are you doing?!

Donnah: Sam?! Sam, open the door!

Crystal: No! Leave me alone!

Clarice: Please Sam, open the door.

Crystal: No mom. I'm sorry. Remember that I love you so much. But I can't take this anymore. Maybe
there is happiness in death.

Donnah: Sam! Stop! Open the door!

Crystal: Tell me Mike that I love him so much. I love him more than my life. I'm really sorry.

(Sound of a gun) (Crystal lying on the floor)

(Opens the door)

All: Sam!

Crystal: (panting...almost losing breath) Now my heart has stopped breaking... (close eyes slowly)

All: Sam!
