Product Marketer 

Purpose
Intense collaboration with right people to make right decision. Need to be in the driver seat 
for  improving  customer  experience.  You  should  be  a  passionate,  creative,  problem solver 
wanting to deliver delight to both internal and external customers.
 
Goals and Deliverables
 
● Understanding  the  target  market  with  market  visits,  defining  customer  personas, 
segmenting  them  and  derive  value  prepositions  by  creating  testimonials, 
case-studies and other collaterals helping sales team sell better.
● Hands  on  experience  based  selling,  daily  interaction  with  minimum  20-30 
customers  or  prospects  for  pilot  launches,  new  upgrades  or  features  etc.
Identify and improve the experience on all the touch points of the customer journey.
● Experiment  new  ideas  of  demand  generation.  Run  focussed  campaigns  offline 
(events and roadshows), online/social media campaigns & with partners.
● Drive competitive intelligence from market by studying competitor features, pricing 
and their marketing to help sales with counter strategy.
● Drive  compelling  features  of  competition  are  covered  in  product  road  map  and  
Creating 30 second elevator pitch/stories for each product and customer segment.
● Build  followers  (at  least  100  every  week)  by  contributing  to  blog  writing,  monthly 
news-letter, guest blogging with a monthly or fortnight PR marketing.
 
 
As a Product Marketer
 
● Learn  by  talking  to  customers,  partners  and  other  stakeholders  and  spread  the 
learning  for  positive  influence  on  market.  Do  a  complete  in-depth  competitor 
research. 
● Conduct  Interviews,  surveys,  review  sales  data  and  gain  insight  into  customer 
usage  of  current  products and solutions, review untapped opportunities and create 
buyer personas.
● You will also own company's website, social channels, for the product & its relevant 
applications positioning, messaging. Building a brand to acquire new customers and 
create an eco-system of happy & profitable customers.
● You  will  be  a  sales  enabler,  communicate  the  value  proposition  (video,  content, 
infographics)    to  sales/partners  to  aid  selling  easier,  reduce  sales  cycle  time, 
increase life-time value of customers
 ● Work  with  engineering  and  product  teams  from  product  fitment,  design,new 
launches,  product  pricing  to  market release. Continuous feedback on market given 
to  product  teams  on  new  features  and  create  product  roadmap  through 
collaborative decision-making.

● Increase  market reach & penetration both offline (particate in events, trade shows, 
exhibitions,  conferences)  and  online  to  maximize  ROI.  Identify  path  patterns, 
weakest points, measure and improve 

● Align and work all the initiatives with digital marketing SEO/SEM team 

Proficiency in Hindi or any regional language other than Tamil is mandatory
