Job Title Network Engineer

Reports To

Job Purpose
 Looking for experienced Cisco Network Engineer who must have deep knowledge of
Cisco Security products; ASA, IOS and IOS-XE ZBPF, CSM, NGFW, NGIPS, FTD, Firepower
and NAT. General VPN protocol knowledge (ISAKMP, IKEv2, and IPsec SSL). Wireshark
and other tools for TCP/IP packet capture analysis.
 Prior hands on experience with Cisco networks with basic Cisco router and switches
configuration.
 Networking knowledge on TCP/IP, Routing and Switching.
 Experience with authentication and relay method (Kerberos, NTLM, RADIUS etc).
 Operational knowledge of security concepts and technologies – Stateful packet filtering,
access lists, firewalls, WAF, IDS, DDoS and other risk mitigation strategies.
 Must have good understanding of following protocols, HTTP, SSL, FTP, SMTP, and RTSP.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Create and maintain operational procedures and systems documentation for processes,
networks, systems and software.
 Responsible for resolving any technical issues the business units may encounter in their
normal course of business as a result of constellations WAN and LAN environments.
 Assist in overall management of the firewalls, switches, circuits and routing of the
corporate wide area network.
 Ensure high availability and performance of security and network environment.
 Maintain optimal use of server and network computing resources.
 Install and maintain network equipment.
 Install and use network and server analysis and performance tools to improve overall
reliability and throughput.
 Participate in the design and review of new network environments and patching of
these environments.
Required Experience & Qualification

• B.S. degree in IT / CS / EE or equivalent with 10 years working experience maintaining a wide

area network.
• Strong knowledge of network engineering, verified by having obtained credentials as a Cisco
Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher / equivalent.
• CISSP or equivalent security-related industry certifications.
• Possess basic project management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills are essential. Must be able to give and receive correct
information, explain difficult information in layman's terms and maintain a customer service
attitude to all levels of users.
• Experience working in Active Directory, including security groups and overall AD structure
knowledge.
• Packet Capturing.
• Experience Deploying and Configuring Network Security Appliances (Firewalls, IPS's, and
Application Layer Gateways.

Additional Skills Qualifications:

• Professional IT Certifications, such as: CCNA, CCNP, CCVP, CCDA, CCIE, Microsoft MCP,
VMware VCP and MCSE (Nice to Have).
• Ability and willingness to learn new technology skills
• Self-motivated and Detail-oriented with strong customer service orientation
