Future Pipe Industries B.V. is the European Agent for the RED BOX® and YELLOW BOX® pipes
from Tubular Fiberglass Corporation in Houston, USA.
In addition to our own glassfiber reinforced epoxy pipe systems with cement bonded, rubber sealed
and laminated joints, we enlarged our delivery program with the TFC glassfiber reinforced epoxy
pipes with API threaded joints.

Corrosion free fiberglass pipe and tubing has also found use in the petroleum and oilfield industries
since the late 1960's. Fiberglass' ability to withstand a wide range of aggressive acids, caustics,
and other agents destructive to steel, combined with its high strength capabilities have made it an
irreplaceable and commonplace component in the Industrial infrastructure world-wide.
In the oil industry approximately 40% of all pipe purchased currently is fiberglass.

YELLOW BOX® Line Pipe and RED BOX® Tubing and Casing occupy the top end of the fiberglass
industry both in terms of performance and quality. Designed for higher pressure and the most
severe performance requirements. TFC is the leader in the chemical downhole waste injection
business, the most demanding application in the fiberglass industry.

Aromatic Amine Cured Epoxy resin System

The corrosion resistance and durability of a fiberglass laminate is derived from the molecular
architecture of the epoxy resin. The aromatic amine cured system is universally acknowledged as
providing the highest combination of strength and chemical resistance available in the industry.
Further, its long term high temperature curing requirements produce the industry's highest thermal
stability as well, providing for a continuous operating temperature rating of 100° C.

Integral Joint Connection Design
ii RED BOX® and YELLOW BOX® one piece threaded integral joint design ensures a dependable
leak free connection while simultaneously providing the highest tensile strength characteristics in
the oil industry. The female, or box connection is precision filament wound as a continuation of the
body of the pipe itself. The male, or pin, thread is precision machined into the opposite end of the
same contiguous pipe body. Unlike other products which use couplers or glue-on connected
thread, the threaded box and pin connections are both integral part of the pipe itself.

8 Round Standard API Threads

RED BOX® and YELLOW BOX® integral joint connection is threaded with 8 Round Standard
American Petroleum Institute (API) threads, 8 Round EUE in the case of Tubing and smaller size
line pipe and 8 Round Casing Long in the case of casing and larger size line pipe. Standard steel 8
Round connections make directly up to the fiberglass joints without need of crossovers or
adapters. All products are reusable, threads can be broken-out and made-up without thread
damage.

YELLOW BOX® Line Pipe and Fittings

YELLOW BOX® fiberglass line pipe and fittings are designed for medium to high pressure oilfield
ф and industrial service where operating conditions include exposure to corrosive or otherwise
chemically aggressive fluids or gases. Sizes range from 2" through 10" and static operating
* pressure ratings are available from 500 through 3500 psi. The pipe can withstand a continuous
operating temperature range from -51° С to 100° C.
* Typical uses include the following:
» salt water injection, water flood lines
* * medium to high pressure transmission lines
^ * CO2 injection and recovery lines
* crude oil and gas flow lines, gathering systems
A * chemical effluent and waste disposal lines
* Water distribution systems

• Composition and classification

9 YELLOW BOX® pipe is manufactured with a machine made composite material produced by
filament winding high strength continuous glassfiber filaments with corrosion resistant epoxy resin.
* The aromatic amine cured epoxy resin system provides the highest mechanical strength, thermal
resistance, and corrosion resistance of all commercially available resin systems used in the
9 fabrication of high pressure fiberglass piping.

* YELLOW BOX® pipe is available in API monogrammed conformance to API Specification 15HR
under TFC API license number 15HR-0006. The TFC Quality Management System is certified to
* be in compliance with ISO-9001 and ANSI-RAB.

* YELLOW BOX® pipe conforms to ASTM Specification D2996 (Designation RTRP-11AX-2324), and
ф ASTM Classification D2310 (Designation RTRP-11AX).

л Joining system and fittings

YELLOW BOX® pipe products up to 4" in size are connected with the reliable proven integral joint
ф API Specification 5B 8 Round external upset end (EUE) long threaded connnections, and with API
Specification 5B eight round casing long form threaded connections for larger sizes. All sizes are
f completely and directly compatible with standard steel EUE eight round connections.

YELLOW BOX® Fittings

YELLOW BOX® pipe is offered with a complete line of fiberglass fittings including elbows, tees,
flanges and a full range of crossovers.
A full line of fittings is available in sizes 2" through 10" and in pressure ranges as high as 2.500 psi.
All fittings are, as per the pipe, equipped with API Specification 5B threaded connections. A full
range of size to size crossovers is available as are most thread type crossovers.

Щ RED BOX® fiberglass reinforced aromatic amine cured epoxy resin casing and tubing is designed
for downhole service of medium to high pressure at depths as great as 13,000 feet.
Ф RED BOX® tubing and casing is available in sizes ranging from 2-3/8" through 10-3/4" and in
operating pressure ratings ranging from 1000 to 3500 psi.
0 RED BOX® casing and tubing system is recommended for use in:
* production wells (oil, gas, thermal)
» disposal wells (salt water, chemical effluent, and waste)

ф Composition and classification

RED BOX® casing and tubing is manufactured with a machine-made composite material produced
* by filament winding high strength continuous glass fiber filaments saturated with corrosion resistant
epoxy resin around a steel mandrel. The epoxy resin is an aromatic amine cured system that has
the highest mechanical strength, thermal resistance, and the best corrosion resistance of all
commercially available resin systems used in the fabrication of fiberglass tubulars.

RED BOX® casing and tubing will be authorized to use the API monogram by conforming to API
* Specification 15TR (when issued). The Tubular Fiberglass Corporation Quality Management
л System is certified to be in compliance with ISO-9001 and ANSI-RAB.
* RED BOX® pipe conforms to ASTM Specification D2996 (Designation RTRP-1 1AT-1334) and
ж ASTM Classification D2310 (Designation RTRP-1 1AT).

ж Joining system and fittings

RED BOX® casing and tubing products are connected with the reliable, time proven integral joint
ф API 8 round external upset end (EUE) long threaded connections, or casing long threaded
connections. Pin ends are machined while box ends are filament-wound as an integral part of the

SPECIAL PRODUCTS

Slotted well screens

Slotted well screens are available in all tubing and casing sizes. The slots are intermittently cut
vertically in the casing body and can be specified for thickness as low as 0.025". Typical slots have
an effective open length of two inches and are positioned around the circumference of the pipe. A
four inch slotted screen can carry as much as 30 slots per linear foot which, based on a nominal
slot width of 0.030", would provide for 1.80 square inches of open area per linear foot.

Centralizers
All tubing and casing is available with bonded pre-cast fiberglass centralizers. Specified outside
diameters are controlled with gage rings and the centralizers are available in both spiral and
straight axial configurations.

PBR Stingers
Polished bore receptacle stingers are available in all pipe sizes. The stingers are precision
machined to specified diameters and, if required, equipped with machined seal recesses.

Manifold assemblies
Custom fabricated manifolds of all configurations and combinations are available. The manifolds
may be pre-assembled in the plant or assembled and installed on site by our field technicians.

Syphon tubes
Flanged syphon tubes for loading and unloading corrosive chemicals from tanks of all types are
available in all sizes. Custom flange patterns and configurations can be provided on order.

Inspection spools
Flange by flange inspection spools are available in all sizes and lengths. Coupons of various
shapes and sizes are likewise available for line monitoring.

Guide shoes
Custom shaped guide shoes are available in all tubing sizes and are available on an as-ordered
basis.
