China Railway BIM Initiative
A strategic, top-down movement by China Railway Corp
 2013, China Railway BIM Alliance (CRBIM) was
founded with 8 founding members

 2014, CRDC was assigned to lead the research,
and developed China Railway BIM Data Standard
(CR-IFC) v1.0.
 2015, CRBIM called all BIM software companies
to support CR-IFC in software. DS answered with
the best 3D platform technology.
 2016, CRDC successfully implement CR-IFC in in
3DEXPERIENCE, and used in Yang-Da Line, the
1st full-disciplinary BIM railway (44km).
 CRC/CRDC presented DS achievements in
global industry events:
 BuildingSMART International, Rotterdam, 2016.4
 BuildingSMART International, Jeju, 2016.9
 4th WW Government BIM Forum, Beijing, 2016.10
China Railway BIM Standard (CR-IFC)
Open format to exchange BIM data in railway industry

 CRDC completed Design Model (LOD 300) in CATIA, and
submitted on Apr 15th.
 9 contractors are using CATIA to develop Construction
Model (LOD 400) on top of CRDC model.
