I. INTRODUCTION

Mathematics still remains the most feared subject next to English. So, teaching
Mathematics requires patience and enough time for a teacher and the learners to work on
Mathematical problems and computational exercises. We, Mathematics teachers, should
have ideas on how we can easily teach solving number problems to the learners. We should
have a rational and instinctive mind to discover the answer.

The skills in Mathematical concept really exercise out mind to compute the four
fundamental operations, fraction, ratio and proportion, interpretation of graph,
measurement, using different formula of angles and application of Mathematics problem in
real life.

V. CONCLUSION

It is true that in spite of the many efforts exerted by our math teachers to simplify the
subject, Mathematics still remains a feared one. But this should not stop us math teachers
from giving other ways and means to allow the students to be calm and be comfortable
with Math.

VI. RECOMMENDATIONS

To deal with Mathematical problems is one of the difficulties of the learners. Teachers
should provide better knowledge and skills in teaching so the learners could appreciate the
subject. First, present the lessons in the simplest way you can. Let the learners do their
activities/exercises in their notebooks so they can track their learning. Impose collaborative
learning; may it be peer teaching or group discussions. And provide plenty of activities as
some says “Practice makes perfect”.
