Introduction

Books have played a vital role in shaping our society into what we know today.

It’s a medium of knowledge and ideas, a way of delivering information to the masses.

Some use it more than others; students, especially, mostly uses this as learning

materials. It can be regarded as the most common and used educational tool.
Significance of the study

This study aims to assess and compare the effectiveness of traditional books and

e-books as learning material to Grade 11 HUMSS and GAS students of AMA Caloocan

Campus. The results of this study would be beneficial to the following:

• Students – this study may benefit students in the sense that it can help

them decide what they should use between traditional books and e-books.

material is more effective and preferred by their students so that it is

Scope and Limitation

This study aims to assess and compare the effectiveness of traditional books and

e-books as learning material to Grade 11 HUMSS and GAS students of AMA Caloocan

Campus. It also focused to determine which is preferred by the subjects between the

traditional books and e-books. Moreover, it also aims to know the factors that affect the
effectivity of the two as learning materials. The target respondents of the study are the

Grade 11 HUMSS and GAS Strand because these strands often use modules or books

in their course.

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Ebook and traditional books to

Grade 11 HUMSS and GAS students of AMA Caloocan Campus. It aims to answer the

following question:

1. What factors are being considered to Identify the effectiveness of Ebook and

Traditional books?

2. Between Ebook and traditional books whichis more preferred by the Grade 11

HUMSS and GAS students of AMA Caloocan Campus?

3. Which is more effective learning materials Ebook or Traditional books?

4. What are the difference between Ebook and Traditional books that would

affect their effectiveness?
