INTRODUCTION
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF A BUSINESS IMPLIES THE OBLIGATION OF THE
MANAGEMENT OF A BUSINESS ENTERPRISE TO PROTECT THE INTEREST OF
THE SOCIETY.THE CONCEPT OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY(CSR)
SAYS THAT THE ROLE OF MANAGER IS NOT ONLY TO MAXIMISE THE PROFIT
BUT ALSO TO TAKE CARE AND SERVE THE INTEREST OF THE SOCIETY
INCLUDING CUSTOMERS WORKERS AND THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE.
IT IS ALSO CALLED CORPORATE CITIZENSHIP.

TO ENGAGE IN CSR MEANS IN NORMAL COURSE OF BUSINESS TAKE EXTRA


MEASURE TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE, THE SURROUNDING AROUND WHICH IT
IS OPERATES OR RUNS ITS BUSINESS LIKE BY PROVIDING SCHOOLS,
HOSPITAL, OLD AGE HOMES,USING THE PRINCIPLE OF SUSTAINABLE
LIABILITY.

THUS IT CAN BE USED AS A TOOL TO MEASURE PERFORMANCE AS THE MORE


THEY ARE DOING CSR THE MORE WILL BE THIER REVENUE AS THE PRINCIPLE
SAY IF YOU TAKE CARE OF PEOPLE THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU.

RESEARCH MYTHODOLOGY

Survey would be conducted taking sample of people belonging to different section of society
about what do they think about companies performing corporate social responsibility .
Question related to the chosen company and its competition would also be taken into account.
The survey question would be multiple choice based Interview would be conducted by
researcher for an in depth analysis persisting to the topic. The participants will be chosen
based on their position in an organisation and customers who are regular to concerned
organisation taken into account. The researcher will try to establish diversity for a more
appropriate result.

looked upon for these TECH GIANTS and the questions related to them will be surveyed
and reviewed upon

4. Finding and Analysis - would be done by researcher based upon understanding
