MY THOUGHTS
“MATH 1 IS
SURELY DIFFICULT
BUT
D05 UNBELIEVABLY
FUN”
GRADE VII - DIAMOND
To be submitted to:
3 ( 6x + y ) = z
The 3 above represents our God for He has three personas, namely God the
Father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit. The 6x represents our family which
has 6 members, the y is represents my efforts, perseverance and willpower to
achieve my dream. The z represents the successful achievement of my dreams.
The solution in my problem is by praying to God and asking for His guidance and
combining it with the support I get from my family and through my hardwork and
determination can help me achieve my ambition. Studying here in Pisay can be a
big help to me and also here I discovered and learned many things and it also
improved my traits due to its religious activities and that school serves as the full
package in achieving my goal and solving this problem.
Distributing His guidance to my family’s support and my own effort by the means
of His blessings helped me to arrive to an answer which is to pray more to God
and don’t just do my work but also to love it because loving it will make it a lot
easier and enjoying it can also promote happiness which is a great help to your
emotional fundamentals. All of these helped me arrived to the answer of:
18x + 3y = z
EXPRESSING YOURSELF
6x + y – z
The algebraic expression above illustrates the statement I chose to
express myself.
I’m the type of the person who always wants to bond with his
family and the one who is going to do everything for his family. I always
pray to God whenever I receive blessings and when I also encounter
obstacles along the way. I can say that I’m still a child who still can’t see
the reason why sibling rivalry and divorce exists but in spite of those
baseless thoughts I always believe in the saying: “A family that prays
together stays together”, in accordance to that we always pray Angelus
at 6 o’ clock, we always pray together before eating a meal and we
always go to church every Sundays and try our best not to miss going to
mass. I know this isn’t enough to pay back all of the blessings we
received but I think it is good because God knows we tried our best.
2. I will study for Math 1 by familiarizing the techniques given, even though I know
that I’ll have a rough time doing it. Of course, Math is not all about memorizing
formulas. It is more of the analysis and the application of the formulas introduced.
That is why I will practice through different examples of a certain topic with
varying techniques to be used to broaden my knowledge and to appreciate Math
more.
3. My seniors told me that getting high grades is a very difficult thing because the
long exams and periodic exams are really hard. I am still starting my journey. I
will not give up hearing these but instead I will use these as encouragements for
me to study hard by taking down notes and practicing Math problems. I will not
leave the classroom leaving some confusion in my mind regarding the topics
discussed. I know my mentor will guide and help me; I just need to approach her.
4. I will listen attentively to the person speaking in front. A vital part of listening is
taking down notes. By doing so, it can help me stress important facts and points
to ponder. If needed and allowed so, I will take photos of the writings on the
blackboard so that I can still study them.
5. I will review the past topics so that I can track the current difficult lesson. I will
also extend my learning through reaching out for the help of internet. I will search
some Math problems I can practice on. If the situation is still not in good
condition, I will approach my teacher for consultation. I know that she will be of
great help.
