Natural Resources are the potential that came from nature that can be developed for production

process.

Natural Resources are divided into four categories, that are land resources, water resources, air
resources, and other resources. From the chart we can know that there are subcategories for each
category, which shown the measuring instrument for each category.

By learning all the natural resources, for planner, we can use the limited natural resources to the fullest
and use it optimally without making a huge damage to the natural resources.

Land Re sources

Land Resources are physical environment that are consist of climate, topography. Land, hydrology, and
vegetation where certain limits affect land use capbility.

There are several land’s function such as; production, basic for support in living system, storage, land is
the source of any raw materials and minerals for human needs, trash and pollution control, land has
function as receiver, filter, buffer and modifier dangerous compounds, space of life, physical facilities for
human living, industry, and social activity such as sport and recreation.

Land Capability

Class 1: Less damage risk, good for any agriculture

Class 2: Medium conservation action, for annual crops, grass, pasture, production forest, and nature
preserve

Class 3: Need serious conservation action if used for agriculture, annual crops

Class 4: Limited plant production, annual crops, grass, production forest

Class 5: Flat or concave area, wet area, permanent vegetation

Class 6: Quiet steep slopes area, easy for erosion, had done erosion, permanent vegetation.

Class 7: Steep slopes area, permanent vegetation, had done heavy erosion

Class 8: Really steep slopes area, covered by loose rocks, covered by beach sands, left naturally

Water Resources

Water is an important compound to fulfill living things everyday needs.

IWRM (Integrated Water Resource Management)

IWRM is a solution to minimalize water resources management problems in Indonesia. IWRM is based
on natural resources principals that are conservation, utilization, control of damaged power,
information system of natural resources. The purpose of IWRM is to take the benefit for people welfare.

Water Balance
Air Resources

part of a very large natural resource for living things, where the oxygen obtained is also formed from the
air inhaled daily.

AIR FUNCTION

 To breathe
 As Conditioning
 Photosynthesis process
 Energy utilization
 Absorb solar radiation
 Protect the earth

AIR BALANCE

how to measure the air balance using ISPU. ISPU is an air quality report that explains how clean the air is
and how it affects our health after breathing the air for several hours or days.

Air is a compound of many gases that are colorless and less smelly (such as oxygen and nitrogen) that
will fulfill rooms above the earth tha
