base both locally and nationally,
Eco Voltz owners, Alan Rayner
and Tracey Johnston, have gone
the extra mile to offer bespoke, custom-made
solutions for the electric bike market.
Selecting an electric bike has been
carefully nurtured into an ‘experience’ at
Eco Voltz. Diametrically opposite to picking
a bike off a shelf, potential customers are
offered an accompanied test ride on a cycle
path. The ride leader will carefully explain
the rudiments of their bikes and customers
can experience riding different models to help
them choose the one that not only fits but that
is best suited to meet their specific needs.
Eco Voltz is an independent company and
is able to provide a completely flexible and
tailor-made service. “We book a time and

day to suit our customers’ lifestyles,” says
Tracey. “We are more than happy to go on a
test ride with our clients at the weekend or on
an evening. We will also take the bike to their
home or place of work. Our aim is to make
the whole process of purchasing an electric
bike a pleasurable and unique experience.
We like to show our customers how to use
the gears and make the most efficient use of
the power available. “We sell our e-bikes to
people who ride bikes and also to cyclists.”
Alan and Tracey design and assemble
their bikes from scratch and then configure
each bike in accordance with the client’s own
specific needs and requirements. Customers
can cherry-pick specific key components
of the bike, such as seat posts, saddles and
even handlebars to suit their riding position.
Each bike, therefore, can be completely
unique to the person concerned whilst
maintaining the bike’s core design integrity.
Every Eco Voltz e-bike is designed and
built to last, using only quality, branded
components. “We only use the best and
most reliable suppliers,” says Alan. “These
include Samsung, Shimano and Bafang. In

As well as selling the bikes from the

Badminton Horse Trials, where they
had a stand for Eco Voltz electric bikes.
