As Law Students, it is undeniable that readings would be a part of our daily lives.

Thankfully,
libraries exist and are readily available for students. The library is a sanctuary for those who seek silence
and concentration as they peruse the compendiums of law.

De La Salle University is a research-based institution that values the student’s ability in

conducting research and their expansion of current knowledge. As a Lasallian Law student, we are all
expected to provide quality legal research papers in the near future. Surely, having a legal library inside
the campus would ensure that we have readily available academic sources when need be.

On our first day in our Legal Research and Thesis Writing, we were tasked to go to the De Lasalle
University- Rufino Campus Library for a brief orientation. Since some of us on our block are not
undergraduates from De Lasalle University Manila thus, the Law librarian explained to them how to
properly use the OPAC. Compared to us De Lasalle University graduates, they relatively have zero to
none experience in using the OPAC properly. OPAC has different uses such as: borrowing and returning
of books, the ability to borrow books from other campuses, the proper use of LORA, etc. During they
also explained to us the rules and regulations inside the Law Library, and the borrowing and returning of
books.

Overall, I trust the articles within the library are complete and expect it to be able to provide for
my future academic legal needs
