The Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) will conduct the public panel interview of the candidates for the
position of Supreme Court Chief Justice who will replace Chief Justice Lucas P. Bersamin who will
compulsorily retire on October 18, 2019.

Justice Diosdado M. Peralta and Justice Jose C. Reyes, Jr. are scheduled to be interviewed between 9
A.M. and 12 NN, while Justice Andres B. Reyes, Jr. and Justice Estela M Perlas-Bernabe between 2 P.M.
and 5 P.M.

The panel interviews, which are open to the public and will be live-streamed by the SC Public
Information Office via its youtube channel The Supreme Court of the Philippines, will be held at the
Division Hearing Room, Ground Floor, SC Main Building, Padre Faura, Manila. Here’s the link to the live
