t
Functional principle of MaintenanceMSG
sage is displayed if no user actions have been carried out on the smartHMI
within a specific time. Every user action, e.g. touching the smartHMI, automat-
ically closes the message.
The message text and time can be configured.
Operation in accordance with the intended use also requires compliance with
the configuration descriptions in this documentation and constant observance
of the assembly and operating instructions for the cell components used.
Misuse Any use or application deviating from the intended use is deemed to be misuse
and is not allowed. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damage re-
sulting from such use. The risk lies entirely with the user.
3 Safety
f
y The safety information for the industrial robot can be found in the “Safety”
chapter of the Operating and Programming Instructions for System Integrators

Parameter Description
WaitTimeInSec Type INT, unit seconds [s]
60 ... 7200
Default: 120
If no user action is carried out in this time, the config-
ured message is displayed. Any user action auto-
matically closes the message.
If a value outside the permissible range is configured
(except “0”), MaintenanceMSG uses the default
value.
Value “0” (zero): MaintenanceMSG is deactivated.
The message is not displayed under any circum-
stances.
Text Type STRING
This text is displayed in the center of the smartHMI,
not in the message window. No changes are made
to the formatting of the contents. All entered spaces
and blank lines are displayed. Multiple blank lines
before or after the text shift it up or down.
If the entered text is too long for the display, it is trun-
cated. In this case, insert line breaks.
