We would all like to think that every human is created equal, however it’s quite obvious
that there are differences between both men and women that make that equality hard to achieve.
Every single person has had an experience that clearly showed a bias amongst men and women.
For example, it’s normal for a woman to feel it’s dangerous to walk home at night. A man would
be seen as weak if he had the same thought. Society as a whole constantly displays the separation
between both species. Sexism, social and cultural experiences, and human behavior are only
three reasons of why men and women are not the same type of people
individual. Sexism is mostly used when associated with women. Present day, one of the most
famous stories in the media is about the sexism within the Hollywood industry. The entire
MeToo movement has shown how women are treated differently within a workplace. On the
same page, no equal employment opportunities. Whether that’s in regards of female directors or
CEOs of major companies. These articles, stories, and movements have proved that sexism still
exists. Therefore, women are still not treated the same as men in a professional environment.

parents can be full-time workers with split household chores and find that is the right way.
In addition, human behavior is by far the most common reason why men and women are
different from one another. Men are expected to carry a certain strength and power with them. A
man is seen as a protector and provider. Whereas women are expected to maintain a soft,
welcoming demeanor. These behavior expectations stem from survival mechanisms. These
expectations are natural to almost every man and woman depending the circumstances.
All these views and examples in our surroundings shows that sexism, social and cultural
experiences, and human behavior are reasons why women and men are ultimately different from
one other. These gender roles have given society a specific structure for genders to follow. The
world has told society this is the way things are supposed to be whether it should be this way or
