DESCRIPTION

The Arantia HE-21 headend is the most

efficient solution for the reception and
streaming of IPTV channels, allowing
the operators, hospitality, corporations,
airports, ports, transport stations, admi-
nistrative buildings and singular projects,
to distribute advance IPTV and Digital TV
services (DVB-S/S2, DVB-T/T2, DVB-C, IS-
DB-T/Tb, ATSC, HDMI & IP) for its following

WEB SERVER UPNP SERVER

The application “Web Server” is a HTTP server absorbed by the
Arantia HE-21 Headend. It can serve static contents as well as
web pages made in html, documents, images... The contents
can be easily loaded through the FTP server, which is included
with the Web server.
Application examples:
Middleware hosting of hospitality systems.
Welcome screen hosting for guests.
Photo gallery.
Music and Video Streaming with limited capacity.
Firmware hosting to update automatically the device which
are connected between them.
UPnP Server (Universal Plug and Play) is embedded in the Ar-
antia HE-21 Headend. IT is used to advertise the IPTV servic-
es to networked devides. Network devides can discover IPTV
services automatically. IPTV services can be grouped into con-
tainers to facilitate the organization of large channel list.

Automatic detection of IPTV services.
Packages of services by topic.
URL’s Advertisements.

SAP ANNOUNCEMENTS UDP TO HTTP PROXY

The server SAP application is an integrated service which im-
plements the Session Announcement Protocol in the Arantia
HE-21 Headend. It annouces the IPTV services to the connect-
ed devices in network. The devices connected in network can
discover the IPTV services automatically. The IPTV services can
be grouped together (playlists) to make easier the organiza-
tion of big channel lists.
Application examples:
Automatic detection of IPTV services.
Service packages classified by topics.
The UDP to HTTP proxy is a multicast traffic embedded link in
the Arantia HE-21 Headend. It is able to forward multicast IPTV
traffic available on a network to HTTP clients upon request.
This application has not transcoded the content so IPTV ser-
vices can be reached HTTP clinets with their original quality.
Application examples:
IPTV over wireless networks.
IPTV outside the LAN (extranets, Internet).
IPTV on devides without multicast support.
