2nd Quarter Accomplishment Report
April-June 2017
I. INTRODUCTION
Tugdan National High School being an annex
of Alcantara National High School way back 1999
is now a mother school of the newly recognized
Melodias Imperial Sr. National High School
located at Calagonsao, Alcantara, Romblon. The
improvement of access to basic education
denotes that progress really happened in the community. Aside from the
improvement of access, this accomplishment report covers different activities planned
and executed in the months of April to June of the present year. Student’s academic
performance and teacher’s development were the highlights of the report.

In adherence to the

of classes, the school, through the
initiative of the planning officer and at
the same time INSET Coordinator Mr.
Randy A. Musa conducted the BOSY
INSET which focused on
teachers’ development and re-echo of
the summer trainings attended by the
faculty members. The Training com-
conference was conducted on May 22
to 24, 2017. entitled “School In-Service
Training-Orientation on Teaching
Strategies and Instructional Materials
Development.”

b. Filipino:
The School has been a recipient of a students’ scholarship grant funded by a church
members from Wisconsin, USA and also through the generosity of Phelps Family.
The scholars received school supplies, water tumblers, umbrellas, socks, shoes,
and school uniforms. The remaining amount from the procurement of the said supplies
will be utilized for their miscellaneous fees. A total of 55 grades 7 to 10 students were
benefited of the program including two senior high school students who continuously
receiving cash grants since year 2016 from the benefactors. The recipients were
oriented about the program by Mrs. Milojean M. Campos, School Guidance counselor
designate together with Mrs. Melicia R. Galicia, School Principal, who has great concern
for the welfare of the poor but deserving students. The sponsor family also pledge the
continuous support to the program. Below is the list of items and amount generated
for the sponsorship and scholarship program:

This year’s National Schools Maintenance Week with the theme; “Isang DepEd, Isang
Pamayanan, Isang Bayanihan, Para sa Handa at Ligtas na Paaralan” is very fruitful
because of the community partnership and stakeholder’s were actively participating in
schools development and improvement for the opening of classes.
Ms. Jinky B. Galagata, newly hired MAPEH teacher initiated the audition for the forming
of the school chorale and music group. The purpose of the establishment is to have a
pool of school talents for school presentation and contest.
3. Sports Clinic
The school is not only focused on academics, but also in sports development. At 4 to 5 in
the afternoon, the school grounds are packed with sports enthusiasts’ students. One of
the most like event is the futsal and football where students are being trained and
honed.

3. One Teacher (1) took the Master’s Degree comprehensive examination at Aklan State
University
F. PHYSICAL FACILITIES
1. On-going construction of one (1) classroom building Funded by DOLE, PTA and MOOE
From the initiative of the School Principal, Mrs. Melicia R. Galicia, the Office of the
Governor Donated Construction Materials such as hallow blocks, Reinforced Steel Bars
(RSB) Paints and Cement for the construction of the perimeter fence.
2. DOLE Fundings
The school was a recipient of the Department of Labor and Employment’s Public
Employment grant which was used for the wages of the construction of the school
building.
3. MOOE Utilization
In order to improve the delivery of quality education and to comply with the K to 12
standards, the school procured the following from the school Management and other
operating expenses fund
