ACTIVITY REPORT
PROVINCIAL ACCOUNTING OFFICE: TEAM BUILDING 2019
Dos Pharos Beach Resort, Brgy. Idiacacan, Pandan, Antique | May 25, 2019

I. INTRODUCTION

Teamwork is mandatory for result-driven, high performance and a nurturing working


environment. This call for means and ways of growing and enhancing teamwork in every
organization and one major way is letting team members engage in team building activities.

II. TEAM BUILDING OBJECTIVES

 Develop good working relationships between all members


 Nurture shared problem solving and generating new ideas
 Create synergy with different sections in the Office
 Effective communication within the team
 Enhance interpersonal relationship among team members
 Discover effective ways to get tasks accomplished
 Have fun, unwind and learn in an enabling environment

III. ACTIVITY PROPER

a. Opening Program

The program commenced with a Zumba Dancing activity led by Dancel Kae Briones and
Dawn Marie Ignancio from the Financial Section of PACCO. This was followed by an
Opening Remarks given by the Provincial Accountant, Ms. Theresa S. Templonuevo.

Ms. Templonuevo’s message emphasized the importance of preserving the environment


which could be done through applying the 3 R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) in the office.
She also highlighted that paper usage should be minimized when possible, as well as the
use of plastics which can harm the environment due to their decomposition properties.

b. Activities
 CHEERING – Participants were grouped into 4 (four) and were tasked to
create cheers and yells to describe their team.
(Teamwork, Confidence, Discipline, Communication)
 WARM-UP GAME – Teams were tasked to line-up according to their
birthdays nonverbally.
(Communication, Comprehension, Teamwork)

 GAME #1: CUP STACK


Teams were tasked to build a pyramid using cups and rubber bands only.
Holding the cups was not allowed.
(Collaboration, Problem-Solving)

 GAME #2: WET SHIRT GAME


Teams raced to having the most water stocked in their containers using a
single shirt.
(Problem-Solving, Teamwork, Communication, Support)

 GAME #3: ESPASOL GAME


Teams raced to filling their containers with sand after rolling on the shore
with wet shirt worn.
(Problem-Solving, Teamwork, Communication, Support)

 SWIMMING!

IV. ADJOURNMENT

The activity ended at 4:00 in the afternoon.
