APPROVING THE SUPPLEMENTAL PROGRAMS, PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES

(PPAS) FOR UNEXPENDED LDRRM FUND AMOUNTING TO THREE MILLION
EIGHTY-NINE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FORTY-THREE AND 62/100 PESOS
(PHP 3,089,643.62)

WHEREAS, COA Circular No. 2012-002 states that “The unexpended LDRRMF shall
accrue to a special trust fund solely for the purpose of supporting DRRM activities of
the LDRRM Council within the next five (5) years;

WHEREAS, provided further in the aforementioned circular, “The LDRRM Councils

shall decide on the use of the unexpended balance of the LDRRM Fund which shall be
incorporated in the LDRRM Fund Investment Plan (LDRRMFIP);

WHEREAS, presented before this council is a proposal for the supplemental
programs, projects and activities to be funded out of the unexpended LDRRM Fund;

WHEREAS, upon thorough study and discussion on the PPAs proposed, the council
found that it is compliant to the mandates on the utilization of the LDRRM Fund;

NOW THEREFORE, upon motion of Mr. Beltzasar S. Alindogan duly seconded by Mr.
Mark Ryan P. Tolosa, be it;

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, TO “APPROVE THE SUPPLEMENTAL

PROGRAMS, PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES (PPAS) FOR UNEXPENDED LDRRM FUND
AMOUNTING TO THREE MILLION EIGHTY-NINE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FORTY-
THREE AND 62/100 PESOS (PHP 3,089,643.62)”

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Sangguniang

Bayan of Kalayaan for its information and appropriate action.

I hereby certify to the correctness of the above-quoted resolution which was duly
adopted by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council during
its meeting on July 29, 2019.
