One-on-one grad school admissions consultation and info session with former

Attention all students looking to apply to grad school! A selective group of former admissions officers from
prestigious and high ranking universities such as Stanford, MIT, Princeton, and Harvard are putting on the
10th semi-annual college counseling presentation series. There will be 15 presentations done at various
colleges and universities across the United States.

We are very glad that UC-B is one of them! Former admissions officer Indrani Stangl, with experience
working in the admissions office of Stanford for 15+ years, will be coming to our campus for an hour long
presentation. Additionally, Indrani will be giving 6 students the opportunity to have a free 30 minute one-
on-one counseling session with her.

During the presentation, Indrani will speak about topics relating to figuring out the tips and tricks that will
help you get admitted to the grad program of your dreams. Whether it be help with your essays, resume,
or preparing for interviews, Indrani will help you through the confusing and difficult application process to
get admitted to a competitive grad program.

During the 1 on 1 counseling session you will begin the deep dive into your initial school list, how to tailor
your resume to help tell your story, and consider how your personal statement will best reflect you. We

Counselor Introduction
Indrani Stangl has more than fifteen years of graduate admissions experience at Stanford University in
the School of Engineering, Law School and School of Education. She also has several years of
experience as a career counselor in the Silicon Valley. She is currently a senior graduate counselor at
AcceptU.
