1. 1) The ALDL (Assembly Line Diagnostic Link) is located on the driver’s side under the dash,
just under the steering column.

2. Bridge pins number 5 & 6 on the ALDL which are located on the top row counting from the
left.
3. To bridge the ALDL you can use a jumper wire or a large paper clip bent into shape.
4. Turn the ignition to the ”ON” position.

7. Read & note the flashes (codes) using the format description below.
8. When finished turn the ignition to the ”OFF” position & remove the jumper wire or paper
