2. Estado de la técnica
Para la preparación de este documento se han tenido en cuenta los modelos que últimamente se
ha ido usando para modelar el canal óptico atmosférico en espacio libre. Durante los últimos años
se ha empleado la función densidad de probabilidad Lognormal para modelar el canal ante turbu-
lencias débiles y la función Gamma-Gamma para modelar las turbulencias moderadas y fuertes.
Además, se ha realizado un estudio de la más reciente de las distribuciones aparecida en el último
lustro (modelo Málaga), que es usado principalmente por su validez para modelar turbulencias
débiles, moderadas y fuertes. También es de interés el estudio de la simplificación de las expre-
siones matemáticas que se usan para la comparación de resultados analı́ticos con los numéricos,
obtenidos mediante el método de Montecarlo, ası́ como la simplificación de expresiones con limites
infinitos.

3. Metodologı́a
El trabajo a desarrollar sigue una metodologı́a similar a otros trabajos del mismo campo y se
puede resumir el los siguientes puntos:
Buscar, leer y entender las publicaciones cientı́ficas más recientes en el campo de interés, sobre
comunicaciones inalámbricas y ópticas atmosféricas, para adquirir una visión actualizada del
tema a tratar.
Obtener las posibles soluciones y proponer técnicas que mejoren y resuelvan el estado actual
de la técnica. Estas ideas sirven para crear desarrollos y hacer análisis para la investigación
cientı́fica a realizar.
Implementar los prototipos sobre los que realizar pruebas mediante simulaciones numéricas.
Comprobar la veracidad de los resultados: comprobar que los resultados se ajuntan tanto a
la parte teorica (analı́tica) como experimental (numérica).
4. Medio usados
Los recursos y medios software usados para llevar a cabo la investigación son los siguientes:

5. Planificación temporal
La planificación temporal se va a realizar en las siguietes etapas:
Años anteriores (hasta 2015). El citado alumno ha pertenecido durante este tiempo al
Programa de Doctorado de la Universidad de Málaga (RD/778/1998). Durante este tiempo
ha superado diversos cursos de doctorado, diploma de estudios avanzados en el periodo de in-
vestigación y ha realizado la inscripción de proyecto de tesis doctoral inicial sobre ANALISIS
ESTADISTICO AVANZADO APLICADO A LAS COMUNICACIONES INALAMBRICAS.
En los dos últimos años de este periodo se ha especializado en la temática de COMUNICA-
CIONES OPTICAS ATMOSFERICAS.
Primer año (2015-2016). 1er semestre.- Se pretende realizar un estudio y revisión del
estado de la técnica, con planteamiento de soluciones, investigación teórica y analı́tica, y
realización de algoritmos y prototipos.
Segundo año (2016-2017). 1er semestre.- Durante este semestre se pretende estudiar
nuevos estadı́sticos asociados al modelo de canal óptico atmosférico propuesto, y los resulta-
dos que se deriven serán enviados a revistas y congresos para su difusión internacional.
6. Resultados esperados
Durante este periodo de investigación, se pretende enviar los resultados a través de artı́culos
cientı́ficos a revistas indexadas en JCR (Journal Citation Report) tales como Optics Letters y
Wireless Personal Communication. Además se pretende enviar ponencias a congresos naciona-
les tales como URSI( Unión Cientı́fica Internacional de Radio) e internacionales como GC-WOC
(Global Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications) y OSA Technical Digest (OSA:
Optical Society American).

Por otro lado, en este periodo se espera desarrollar y mejorar gran variedad de competencias
genéricas tales como:
