RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research Design
The researchers used qualitative approach. The purpose of this study is to know the
perception of the selected NHS students regarding the overlapping school works
and its effects to their time management. This study was a phenomenology study
since the researchers seek to gain insights from the NHS students and how the
Based on the researchers’ chosen criteria; NHS student, 5 male and 5 female
students from each grade level, total of 30 respondents of grades 8, 9, and 10 from
the Night High School students of Siena College of Taytay. The NHS students
were chosen because of their situation as scholars of SCT. And we all know that
scholars should maintain their high grades for them to continue their scholarship in
the campus.
Siena College of Taytay
Locale of the Study
The researchers conducted the research inside the campus of Siena College of
Taytay. The NHS students’ classrooms are located at rooms 201, 202, and 203, 1 st
Siena College of Taytay, formerly St. Catherine Academy, was opened during the
term of the late Mother Natividad Pilapil, O.P., the Superior General of the
In conducting this study about the perception of the NHS students regarding the
overlapping school works and its effects to their time management, the researchers
make use of books, internet research, journal and articles as their references. The
researchers chose to use a survey questionnaire as their main reference to gather all
the data. The researchers also see that the selected respondents from grades 8, 9
and 10 of the Night High School can honestly answer all the 12 questions from the
survey questionnaire.
This study will have a survey research to gather some information we would use to
compile after we analyze each of their answers. The researchers prepared some
questionnaires that are given to the selected NHS students from Siena College of
Taytay. These questionnaires are a shaded type that contains the students’ name,
age, sex, grade and section and the following questions to know their own
perception about the overlapping school works and its effects to their time
management.

Statistical Treatment
After gathering the data needed, the researchers analyzed the gathered data with
the help of statistical tools. In relation of this, the percentile was used to analyze
the information we gather through the distributed questionnaires. The formula used
Wherein:
F = Frequency
We will be using the formula written above to know the frequency of the
answers by the respondents through the questionnaires given to them. This formula
will help the researchers to find the percentage and the perception of the selected
NHS students regarding the overlapping school works and its effects to their time
management.

Summary
Conclusions
Recommendations
1. .For the students, to make a schedule , the time you will consume, and for
2. For the teachers, being the second parents of the students, they must
encourage the students to finish the school works and to know the alignment
of the school works so that the students will give it on the said deadline.
3. For the parents, they should support and communicate to their child for them
to know the situation facing the students, and they can give some advice to
their children to add some touch to the school works. And to have an extra
4. For the school, they should consider the students to use their books, articles,
journals or other information that the students will add to their school works.
5. For the future researchers, you must focus your main topic which you will
lend some time and efforts, and to add some information that will further
more your topic and can help this to the other students also.
