BASIC INSTRUMENTS OF AN EMPLOYEE

1. JOB DESCRIPTION
- A job description is an internal document that clearly states the essential job
requirements, job duties, job responsibilities, and skills required to perform a
specific role. A more detailed job description will cover how success is measured
in the role so it can be used during performance evaluations.

Example:
- Registered Nurse
o To provide invaluable assistance in a variety of healthcare facilities,
including nursing homes, hospitals and private practices. Interact with
patients, offering emotional sup port and education. And also coordinate
with the doctors, patients and other parties to provide patient care.

2. QUANTITATIVE STANDARDS
- Quantitative standards are characterized and pre-packaged in unit containers at
defined concentrations. A detailed Certificate of Analysis accompanies the
standard, and the stability is monitored by our QC staff. The quantitative
standards are pre-packed into single use ampoules at known concentration in a
solvent such as methanol or ethanol.

Example:
- Time Standards
o The goal will be set on the basis of time lapse in performing a particular
task. It could be units produced per hour, number of pages typed per
hour or number of telephone calls made per day. Managers utilize time
standards to forecast work flow and employee output. Standard
employee output also determines the extent of financial incentive plan.

3. QUALITATIVE STANDARDS
- Qualitative standards are intended for the general identification of lipids by MS
analysis. The pre-package qualitative standards are normally provided as
powders and amount varies according to the product. Note that qualitative
standards are suitable for LC/MS development and optimization. We can provide
a certificate of analysis on request for the qualitative standards but are not as
extensive as those of the quantitative standards.
4. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- are statements that describe: results in terms of knowledge, attitude, skill,
aspiration, and behavior. Participant performance, rather than trainer
performance or instructional procedure.

5. INCIDENT REPORT
- is a form that is filled out in order to record details of an unusual event that
occurs at the facility, such as an injury to a patient.

6. PERFORMANCE REVIEWS
- is a formal assessment in which managers evaluate an employee's
work performance, identify strengths and weaknesses, offer feedback, and set
goals for future performance.

7. PERSONAL HISTORY RECORDS


- A collection of information about a person's health that allows the person to
manage and track his or her own health information. It may also include
information about medicines taken and health habits, such as diet and exercise.
