are willing to be there to ponder the community
issues. Some Agenda Points for discussion and
sapas nama is here for your review and

Merit of Scholar
Imam al-`Aaskari (AS), in his description of evil
scholars, said, ‘They cause more harm to the weak
ones from among our shi`aa than the army of
Yazid did to Husayn b. Ali (AS) and his
companions, for they snatched away (grab, seize,
steal) their lives and their property, whereas these
evil scholars … enter doubt and obscurity
(ambiguity) into the weak ones from among our
shi`aa and lead them astray (wandering).’

Ya-Sin (Ya-Sin)> [36:47]
ََ ‫ّللاُ َرزَ قَ ُكمَ ِم َّما أَن ِفقُوا لَ ُهمَ قِي‬
‫ل َو ِإ َذا‬ ََّ ‫ل‬ََ ‫لَّوَ َمن أَنُط ِع َُم آ َمنُوا ِللَّذِينََ َكفَ ُروا الَّذِينََ قَا‬
‫ّللاُ َيشَاء‬ََّ ُ‫ّل أَنتُمَ ِإنَ أَط َع َم َه‬ََّ ‫ض ََللَ فِي ِإ‬ َ َ‫ُّم ِبين‬
Thus, when they are told, “Spend on others out of
what God has provided for you as sustenance,”
those who are bent on denying the truth say unto
those who believe, “Shall we feed anyone whom, if
[your] God had so willed, He could have fed
[Himself]? Clearly, you are but lost in error!”

Surah Al-Maun [107:1-7]

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Requital? (1)
So, he is the one who pushes away the orphan, (2)
And does not persuade (others) to feed the needy.
(3) So, Woe to those performers of Salat , (4) Who
are neglectful of their Salat, (5) Who (do good only
to) show off, (6) and who withhold even the
common necessaries (small
kindnesses, neighbourly needs) from others. (7)

Ladies and Gentlemen: Today is great event that

we have great blessed personalities with us. We
are here together to ponder on the issues which
are affecting the life of common men. In this
session we have elite of Toronto City. Let's decide,
how can everyone of us contribute to make our
community an ideal community.
There are some centres which keep the record of
their member families; this is a great step. They
try to know; what challenges our community
families are facing after immigration. The survey
shows that most of the issues are of psychological
nature. If we are not able to address small issues
on time; they resulted into deprivation of health
and in some cases even family breakdown. Issue
was related to job but it affected the family life.
The need of 24/7 helpline arrangement is there to
encourage the community members that don't feel
alone in any situation. Availability of quick and
sufficient moral support can save a lot of energy
and resources on community level. With efforts we
would be able to provide our community members
such an environment that they prefer to contribute
in community development and in this
environment of mutual cooperation everyone
would be able to utilize all of their capabilities.
In Japanese society; those people say; our
unwritten constitution; that is social moral values;
is much bigger and more powerful than our written
constitution. They believe to settle their issues
locally and on community level and Government
Institutes help them in this regard. Just imagine;
how much time and efforts they save with this
approach.
We have much more spirit and potential with our
Islamic background. Look at daily and routine life
of Holy Prophet (PBUH); how he was dealing with
that old lady; who was throwing garbage on his
way every day. In the battle of Yarmuk; the
companions of Holy Prophet (PBUH) get martyred
thirsty; in spite water was there; but everyone was
preferring others on himself. Islamic history is full
of examples of sacrifice. The task is ahead to work
with this Islamic spirit on each and every level.
There is a lot to be learn and follow to help and
cooperate to new immigrants with true spirit form
the migration of Holy Prophet (PBUH) from Mecca
to Madina. We can revive the examples of Islamic
history through facilitating of students who migrate
from other cities and countries.
There is a fair number of great people in the
community; land developers, builders, architects,
investors; who are willing to launch a plan to
provide residences to community families on cost
basis. This is a big saving account when it is going
to be implemented.
Business Community is willing to guide the
community members in business development free
of charge. While arranging cultural shows they are
thinking to keep in mind the Islamic and moral
values and highlighting the society issues.
North American official statistics shows that
number of people suffered with mental disorder
diseases is touching 25% of the population. There
is no proper translation of this word in Urdu and
Punjabi. As a community; let's step forward; to
control this figure in our community specifically
and in North America; in general.
