PROCEDURE:
Element of
Suggested Activities
the Plan
Awareness 1. Opening prayer.
2. Checking of attendance.
3. Checking of assignment.
Activity The students conduct the activity entitled “A Nervous Trip”. The class is divided into five/
four groups. The leader of the group assign their members to be the brain, organ, sensory
neurons, and motor neurons. The teacher shows a card to every group, each card presents a
situation that will depict stimulus and response.
Analysis 1. How does the brain receive the information from the receptor?
Answer: The brain receives the information through the sensory neurons that transmit the
message from one neuron to another.
2. What does the brain do as soon as it receives the information?
Answer: As soon as the brain receives the information, it processes the message and come up
with a response to be sent through the neurons.
3. How will you differentiate the sensory and motor neurons based on their functions?
Answer: The sensory neurons transmit impulses from the receptor to the brain while the
motor neurons transmit impulses from the brain to the effector.
Abstraction The sensory neurons transmit impulses from the receptor to the brain while the motor
neurons transmit impulses from the brain to the effector.
The brain receives the information through the sensory neurons that transmit the
message from one neuron to another. As soon as the brain receives the information, it
processes the message and come up with a response to be sent through the neurons.
Application What is the importance of knowing the body processes controlled by the nervous system?
Assessment Based from activity, the students will be graded using the rubrics below.
Rubrics: (100%)
60%- Correctness of the answer
20%- Completeness of the materials
20%- Presentation of the answers
Assignment What are the two types of neurons?
