Illuminating York is proud to present
Rose, a Son et Lumière piece
created by highly acclaimed British
projection artist Ross Ashton, and the
sound artist Karen Monid.

The duo return for this year’s Festival

ILLUMINATING YORK the centrepiece of the 2008 festival,

night photography, and this year we’re giving you the opportunity to show off
your skills.
If you’d like people to see your images of any of the installations at this year’s
festival, you can upload them to the festival’s flickr group and enter our
photography competition. The winning image will be selected by Ross Ashton
& Karen Monid, the artists behind Rose, and the winner will receive £100 of
photography vouchers.
