compete,” said Dr. Nimkar.

“It was very exciting watching all your great efforts. I witnessed great, strong competitiveness
throughout the day. This fully demonstrates our students’ harmonious spirit and was
wonderful to see so many people not only being so positive and cheerful, but also being
tremendously proactive. They were always challenging themselves, and they put in a strong
fighting spirit. Throughout the day, I was truly moved by all our students,” said Lt. Col. BRG
Patil (Retd.).

This was followed by the flawless and melodious rendition of the National Anthem.

The tournament concluded with a lot of fervor and enthusiasm among the participants, who spent
three days filled with sportsmanship, thrill and excitement during the matches. While the door of
the Inter-Institute Table Tennis Championship 2019 was closed, it left another one wide open for
many more tournaments to come, which will give the students a chance to give their best.
