words in these (and many other verses) are
saying it, and it actually works. Running to
His Name is a refuge, a safe haven to run to:
Pro 18:10: “The Name of Yahuah is a strong
tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.”
Psa 144:1&2: “Blessed be Yahuah my Rock, Who
is teaching my hands for fighting, my fingers for
battle; my kindness and my stronghold, my tow-
er and my deliverer, my shield, and in whom I
take refuge, Who is subduing peoples under me.”
Co 10:3-6: “For though we walk in the flesh,
we do not fight according to the flesh. For the
weapons we fight with are not fleshly but mighty
in Elohim for overthrowing strongholds, over-
throwing reasonings and every high matter that
exalts itself against the knowledge of Elohim,
taking captive every thought to make it obedi-
ent to the Messiah, and being ready to punish all

This word study brings to light how Hebrew words carry both a tangi-
ble (literal) and intangible (implied) meaning. A brother was concerned
about the possible mistranslation of the Hebrew words for “black” (KA-
MAR, SHACHAR, & QADAR). The texts he cited (below) seem to use the
literal (tangible) meaning of “black” in certain instances, but in others
they lean toward the “idea” (intangible) implied by the Hebrew term. This
is because Hebrew words have both a literal, tangible, solid meaning and
a secondary, implied, intangible, conceptual meaning to them. For exam-
ple, the Hebrew word ETS means tree (literal meaning), and its implied
meaning of “firmness” is sometimes used in translation to transmit the
implied idea, rather than the actual wood.
The Hebrew words for “black” or “dark” are not the only cases where this
is done, otherwise one might suspect there was a conspiracy to conceal
information by the translators about the word for “black”. We know they
have conspired to conceal information in certain cases such as the Name
of our Creator, so it’s certainly been done before with other words. In the
cases cited below, we see the literal meaning is brought forth when ap-
plicable, while other times the implied meaning is used:
Job/Iyyob 30:30 My skin became black (H7835, SHACHAR, dark, black)
upon me, and my bones burned with heat.
KJV with concordance numbers: My skin 5785 is black 7835 upon 4480, 5921 me,
and my bones 6106 are burned 2787 with 4480 heat 2721.
Jer/YirmeYahu 8:21 For the breach of the daughter of my people I have
been broken. I have grown sad (H6937, QADAR, dark, mourning, melan-
choly); astonishment has seized me.
KJV with concordance numbers: For 5921 the hurt 7667 of the daughter 1323
of my people 5971 am I hurt; 7665 I am black; 6937 astonishment 8047 hath taken
hold 2388 on me.
Lam 5:10 Our skin has become as hot (H3648, KAMAR, black) as an oven,

I recall doing a study over 20 years ago on the Hebrew word for “black”
as I was researching the “dark-robed priests”, the KOMAR, or CHEMARIM
(root KAMAR, dark, black, 2Ki 23:5), who were the Pagan priests keep-
ing their “sacred fires”, thought to be the presence of their deity, the sun.
They were always around incense and soot, so their robes were black, and
possibly many of them had black skin as well.
Today, some who are black, as well as some who are not, are promoting
the teaching that only black people are the true, original descendants of
the tribes of Yisrael. As we are all of one skin-color or another, the way
each of us views other “races” has always been a lightning-rod issue. The
melanin (Greek melanos, dark) content in people never increases, it only
decreases; so, over time, melanin is slowly decreasing in humanity as a
whole. Physical humanity is not evolving, it is devolving. As I understand
the incremental genetic process at work over time in the human species,
everyone was black originally, made from the richest, darkest soil of the
Earth, into which Yahuah breathed the breath of life. White racists will
not be very pleased with me for saying so. As time passed, “breeds” or
races became evident as information became lost and degraded in the hu-
man genome, other traits “switched-off ”, being less dominant. This gave
rise to varying degrees of degraded genetic material in the offspring, and
produced the mixture or variations we see today. All of the people on the
planet are of the same blood, but some lack the melanin that makes their

hair, or eye color. Look at what is happening to the United States to-
day, as the government seeks to set itself up as the object of worship,
and scorns the idea of even mentioning Yahuah. If we begin to become
divisive over the color of our hair, skin, and eyes, we’re in service to the
dragon, not Yahuah. Here’s the text that uses the Hebrew word KAMAR
(black), describing the “intangible” conceptual meaning of the term:

The CHEMARIM, or dark-robed priests of idolatry, are
mentioned in the text above. The root word for this term
is KAMAR, dark, or black. In this case the term seems to
identify the soot-handling Pagan priests with the word
CHEMARIM, a pronoun for those who were “ordained” to
burned incense in the “high-places” to Ba’al, the sun deity.
Notice the translators did not literally translate the He-
brew root, but selected the implied meaning. This is why I
love this kind of research; we can delve much deeper into
the Mind of Yahuah, and join closer to His thoughts.
Hebrew is not the only language where words have both
a literal and implied meaning. The Greek word melanos
(black, dark) has a literal meaning, and an implied mean-
ing. Consider the word melancholy (gloomy, depressed),
based on the implied meaning of melanos, “black”.

ANSWER: People can fix their attention on the “plural-
ity” of singular nouns, but Yahuah never stated He was
compartmentalizing multiple beings, personalities, or
entities. He says He would not allow another being to

usurp His esteem, and that one day we would know it is
He that has acted. Only Yahuah has authority to forgive
sins, yet Yahusha did so, and claimed that all Yahuah has

is His. We have multiplied Yahuah unnecessarily when
we make Him into two or three beings. Yahuah became
flesh, and dwelled among us, and His Name in that form
is Yahusha, meaning “Yah is our Deliverer”.
Identifying that Yahusha is Yahuah is obscured,

however there are indicators that allow us to “know
Him” even before He reveals Himself to the rest of the
world. ZecharYah 14 clearly states that Yahuah Himself
will stand on the Mount of Olives, and fight against the
attackers of Yerushalayim. His feet are the feet of Ya-
husha. The One who speaks is Yahuah Himself, and He
never says it is another that is performing these things.
The house of Yahudah will have their eyes opened to Him
as the one “whom they pierced”. Look closely at these
verses:
Zec 12:9, 10: “And it shall be in that day that I
seek to destroy all the gentiles that come against Yerush-
alayim. And I shall pour on the house of Da’ud and on the
inhabitants of Yerushalayim a spirit of favor and prayers.
And they shall look on Me whom they pierced, and they
shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son. And
they shall be in bitterness over Him as a bitterness over
the first-born.”
When Abrahim found the ram caught in the
thicket by its head, it reflects the crown of thorns placed
on Yahusha, the lamb of Yahuah. Abrahim told his son
that Yahuah would provide Himself as a slaughtering:
Gen 22:7, 8: And Yitshaq spoke to Abraham his
father and said, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my
son.” And he said, “See, the fire and the wood! But where
is the lamb for a burnt offering?” And Abraham said, “My
son, Elohim does provide (for)* Himself the lamb for a
burnt offering.” And the two of them went together.”
*(for) ISR added this word “for” to the text, and it doesn’t
harm the meaning, but without it the clear idea comes
through very nicely.
Col 1:15-17: . . . . . “who is the likeness of the
invisible Elohim, the first-born of all creation. Because in
Him were created all that are in the heavens and that are
on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or ruler-
ships or principalities or authorities – all have been cre-
ated through Him and for Him. And He is before all, and
in Him all hold together.”
The study of the identity of Yahusha through
the markers “alef & tau” reveal a great deal about Who
He is, but the following statement is the most awesome
“revelation”:
Rev 1:8 “I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, Beginning and End,”
says Yahusha “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Then, we discover the identity of the Speaker Who says, “Do not be
afraid, I am the First and the Last, and the living One. And I became
dead, and see, I am living forever and ever.”
Rev 1:10-18: “I came to be in the Spirit on the Day of Yahuah,
and I heard behind me a loud Voice, as of a trumpet, saying, “I am the
‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the First and the Last,” and, “Write in a book what
you see and send it to the seven assemblies of Asia – to Ephesos, and to
Smurna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Phila-
delphia, and to Laodikeia.” And I turned to see the Voice which spoke

furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters. And in His right
hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged
sword,1 and His face was as the sun shining in its strength. And when I
saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead, and He placed His right hand on me,
saying, “Do not be afraid, I am the First and the Last, and the living One.
And I became dead, and see, I am living forever and ever. Amĕn. And I
possess the keys of the grave and of death.”

garding Sabbath, is that they are being too “Le-
galistic.” But in comparison, if someone obeys
the 6th commandment, and does not kill, we
never say they are being “Legalistic.”
We must remember that every blessing

of Yahuah Elohim is in jeopardy, for someone
who does not fear Yahuah, or obey His Word.
And now, it has been shown by revelation and
scripture, that violating the 4th commandment
is very serious, and can even bring eternal con-

Shemoth/Exodus 20:8-12

The text of the 4th commandment, basically
says, - Dedicate the day to Yahuah, - Don’t do
your business, - Don’t have others do your busi-
ness. When you are spending money on Yahuah’s
Day, somebody is doing business.
There are some decisions every person needs to
make.
1) Either Yahuah’s day is to be kept Set-apart,
or Not. It’s either a commandment or Not.
2) And if you believe it is to be kept Set-apart,
are you going to follow how the bible tells us
to keep it Set-apart, or the current World and
Christian culture tells us how to keep it Holy?
Remember if you spend money you are creat-
ing work for yourself and the person(s) you give
it to. So that means Self is breaking the Sab-
bath and enabling another person(s) to break
the Sabbath even if they may not believe in the
practice but our Elohim Yahuah does see all. Is
your submission to self and this world or is your
submission in all things to the almighty Yahuah
our Heavenly Father and Creator.
QOHELETH/ECCLESIASTES 12:13
13Let us hear the conclusion of the entire matter: Fear
Elohim and guard His commands, for this applies to all
mankind!

QUESTION: We were talking to people who were im-
mersed in the Name Y’shua and think its alright. We
wanted to know if you agree, cause in the `Translit-
eration’ article you were saying that it’s not really His
Name but means `our deliverance’ yet in the `Cir-
cumcision/Immersion article you state that its o.k....
what up?
ANSWER: YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-AYIN
YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-UAU-AYIN
YOD- SHIN-UAU-AYIN - the short form, used as proper
noun (name) at Nem. 8. All 3 are based on the root word YASHA
(YOD-SHIN-AYIN).
We find 3 alternate spellings used in Scripture, and my intention
in pointing them out is to lessen the hostility seen in certain
“lead sheep” who are insistent on everyone acknowledging what
they prefer. I promote the most-used form, YAHUSHA, and ac-
cept the other forms since they are understood to be the same,
and refer to the same person. This is the proper function for
names, to identify a specific person. The “Y’SHUA” form can
be confusing, since it is spelled identically to the Hebrew pro-
noun for deliverance. The meaning, when used as a proper noun
(name), is still “YAH-IS OUR-DELIVERANCE”. The difference be-
tween this pronoun and the proper noun of the same spelling
is what it stands for in the understanding of the one using it.
Everyone understands that “Dave”, “Art”, “Jeff”, or “Mike” are
shortened forms that stand for more complete proper names.
The pronoun meaning deliverance, “Y’SHUA”, when not used as a
proper noun, is based on the root word, YASHA (YOD-SHIN-AYIN,
“deliverance”). The proper noun (a name) is also based on the
same root, YASHA.
As we may have been immersed in one or another form of the
Name, we are pledged in our hearts toward obeying and learning
from Yahusha, and He continues to guide us into all Truth. We
cannot possibly already possess all the knowledge at our begin-
ning point, but neither should we “look back” and doubt our sal-
vation, unless we have been grossly misinformed or unaware of
what we were doing. We have much more ahead to learn from
our Shepherd, and some of the “lead sheep” need to learn gentle-
ness from Him. The quarrelling we see between one another over
many matters accomplishes the intentions of the dragon; and
this is why I promote more understanding and love, rather than
conflict. Read this text, and see how it applies to many of the
problems we experience among the “lead sheep”:
2TIM 2:23-26: “But refuse foolish and stupid questions, know-
ing that they breed quarrels. And a servant of the Master should
not quarrel but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient when
wronged, in meekness instructing those who are in opposition,
lest somehow Elohim gives them repentance unto a thorough
knowledge of the truth, and they come to their senses, out of
the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do
his desire.” Wasting our time quarrelling takes us off-task, which
is teaching Torah to the lost as we were told to do. We are too
busy to do our primary work, because we’re trying to correct
one another on small details. The dragon must be very pleased
when we are divided over the many quarrels and judging we see
between one another.
The short form of YaHUaH is found once (YOD-HAY):
Psa 68:4: “Sing to Elohim, sing praises to His Name. Raise up a
highway for Him Who rides through the deserts by His Name Yah,
and exult before Him.”
It is also found in the phrase “hallelu Yah”, and few would be dis-
tressed to hear someone call our Father “YAH”. There are people
distorting Yahuah’s Name in all sorts of ways, one new and grow-
ing distortion is “IEUE”.
In the end, it may be better to need improvement than to have
judged one another. The assembly of Natsarim is a hospital for
sinners, and it is not paradise. I’m still in that hospital, and learn-
ing to love,
