In philosophy of grade 11 -oll they were tasked to make a social standee as their

performance task in philosophy. The project “Social Standee” by the group 2 of grade

11-oll is all about our present society that focuses on different happenings in our country

and it shows how our country is in bad or in good situation and also it shows that our

country is in current war and also it is seeking for peace and it shows the different effect

that can deal in our society and also it shows how our president rule in our country. The

project shows different event.

As you can see the standee that made by gr 11 – Oll group 2 is made out of

illustration board and a wood to balance the standee. The standee has a height of 1.77

meters and for the width it is 67 cm. The subject of the standee is all about our country

that is in war and seeking for freedom and also its show how our current economy in our

country. The upper part of the standee is the former president Rodrigo Duterte that is a

good ruler and a good leader and at the center is our Philippine army that protect us

and also it show the bad and good effect that can benefits our country and at the right

arm is all about our economy that can affect our daily lives and at the left It is all about

bad habits that can lead into addiction and at the bottom part at the right leg as you can

see it is our hero lapu – lapu who fought the colonizers and the last part is the left leg in

the left leg it is a Muslim and tribe in the standee that they made It has a good colors

and also it is rich in color and the style of it is unique and it has a lot of color that they

use and lastly the texture is also rich and the standee it is easy to understand what

message are they trying to convey to the viewers .The color of the painting are
repeated, but not shapes. The top part is the main point and the space are not shallow

and also it is colorful. The spacing is not stick together. And at the middle it focuses the

braveness of our army. The main focus is how our president was a good leader that

leads our country in safe and peace at the back of the standee it is all black because of

illustration board and also it is rich in color and the technique was unique painting and

the standee has a different style of doing it and it was a good painting so far.

The purpose and the meaning of this project is to illustrate the different

happenings in our present society and also it has different rich colors and also the

texture. The balance of using the colors and design. In this work it represent how brave

we are and it also give good color to the background. The standee has different style

and symbol that represents our country and also it is easy for the viewers to understand

what inside the standee but it is lack of colors other parts has no color but it is neat to

the eyes and it has a good style making the standee.

I was amaze by the group 2 because they make it easy for the viewers to

understand what are they conveying it shows how Rodrigo duterte was a good leader

and also it show how we encounter this phenomenon in our present society. The

Philippine army are the once who protect us when there’s a war and also they are the

once that are brave and they sacrifice themselves just for the sake of our safety. Our

president Rodrigo Duterte uses his head properly that’s why we are in peace and in

good hand that’s why the standee shows the work of our president in our country.
 In conclusion the standee was perfectly well done but it lacks something. The

standee represent our society today. The problems that we are dealing nowadays

though it did not show all the problems in our country. The standee was amazing

because it is well detailed, well organize and unique also neat. The standee was colorful

and it show our reality but it has blank spaces as you can see. I rate this project 9/10

because it is well made and well structure of this project.
