PROGRAM OPERATION
1. MEDS M100TS <ENTER> (Command may vary according to which computer you are using.)
Enter the desired Project Control File name. File naming conventions will vary depending upon the computer. The name
entered must not be the same as an existing file in the directory or the following will appear:
STOP 000077
Press the ENTER key if no file creation password is needed. Enter a maximum of four characters if a password is used.
This information will appear at the top of the Printer Output File from any MineSight® program run. Standard names are
METL, COAL or URAN but you may specify any four character name.
Enter 3-D for block model or GSM for Gridded Seam Model.
—————————————————
Enter up to 40 characters of project description or press the return key to end this step. This information will be written
to the Project History File.
Press the ENTER key if no PCF access password is needed or enter one to five characters if a password is used. The file
creation password may be changed at a later date with program M106TS. For security reasons, documentation for this
program is not included in the general distribution; contact Mintec for information on running it.
2. M100TS can only be run once for each PCF. If a second attempt is made (and the PCF has not been deleted since the
first run), or an illegal filename has been entered for the PCF, the following error message will be displayed and the
program will end.
If an illegal name is entered for the Project History File, a new name will be requested.
3. If a non-standard system name (i.e. other than METL, COAL, URAN) is entered, the program will respond with:
The system name is any four character label, therefore if the four characters previously entered are desired, enter Y. If
you wish to enter another label, enter N.
4. If a non-standard answer (i.e., not <ENTER> for Imperial or M for metric) is entered as the type of measurements, the
message:
The same message will be displayed if a non-standard mine model type is entered (i.e. not 3-D or GSM). When
instructed, enter a standard model type.
Once the PCF has been initialized using M100TS and M101V1,
INPUT: CALCS: it can only be updated or listed. If you attempt to initialize the
PCF twice, the program will end. M101V1 may be used to update

and store in PCF the project coordinate parameters and the table of toe elevations
in the PCF by specifying the option RUN=OLD in the run file.
When updating the project coordinate parameters, only specified
parameters will be changed. The project coordinate parameters
and the table of toe elevations can be listed by specifying the
option RUN=LIST in the run file.
A single line of text that will be printed at the top of each page of printer output from the run. This line is stored in the PCF and will
appear on the output of every subsequent MineSight® run. It can be reset with M104TS.

These lines can be in any order. There is no specified format as long as the order of data is:
PCF n value
where “n” is the PCF item number and “value” is the parameter to be stored in PCF.
The command TOE -1 DZ is required to calculate the table of toe elevations in the PCF. DZ is the bench height. If you are not using
variable bench heights you should use the TOE command.
If a 3D Block Model has the number of benches less than or equal to 400, you may use PCF items 50-450.
If a GSM Mine Model was specified in M100TS, the seam names must be entered. Use SEAM instructions to enter seams:
For GSM projects with less than 200 seams you may use PCF items 51-250.
The seam name can be up to five characters in length and must begin with a letter (A-Z) or the # sign. The last four characters can
be either letters or numbers. The seam number is optional and will default to 1 for the first seam, 2 for the second, etc. The seam
number could be set to 10 for the first seam, 20 for the second, etc. This table of seam codes is used primarily by the M620 programs
to correlate the GSM model and the composite file for each seam.
Optional PCF items that you may define include coordinate rotation parameters used by M210V1.
Other PCF items that are automatically set by M101V1 or M102TS are:
Any of these PCF items can be reset with M101V1 using the RUN= OLD option. For example, if the File 9 composite type was set
incorrectly during the M102TS run, reset it using the following:
PCF 453 ELEV. PCF 453 SEAM (or other label from File 9)
PCF 454 BENCH PCF 454 SEAM
If a parameter is NOT NEEDED, such as the coordinate rotation parameters, do not specify it. If a required parameter is not known,
enter a zero to initialize the PCF and update this parameter later.

The Project History File name is not in the PCF table. The current PCF must be deleted and program M100TS must be
rerun. Be sure to enter a valid filename for the History File.
Either the PCF name was misspelled in the M101V1 run file, or M100TS was not run to create the PCF and History
Files. If M100TS was run for this PCF, correct the PCF name in the run file and rerun M101V1. If M100TS was not run
for this PCF, run it before attempting to run M101V1.
A RUN=NEW was attempted for a PCF which was previously initialized. If new PCF parameters are desired, change the
RUN=NEW line in the run file to RUN=OLD, and rerun M101V1.
A RUN=OLD was specified in an attempt to store initial PCF parameters. Change the RUN=OLD line in the run file to
RUN=NEW and rerun program M101V1.
This message indicates that an error occurred while reading a PCF parameter line from the run file. III indicates the line
number after the end line where the error occurred. JJJ indicates the PCF parameter number on that line. Edit the run file
so that all PCF parameter lines are in proper input format and rerun M101V1.
This line prints the number of errors (iii) that were detected in reading the run file.
If this message appears, the number of columns multiplied by the column length does not equal the distance between the
east and west limits of the PCF area. Change the number of columns or the PCF easting limits so that the entire area is
covered by columns.
If this message appears, the number of rows multiplied by the row length does not equal the distance between the north
and south limits of the PCF area. Change the number of rows or the PCF northing limits so that the entire area is covered
by rows.
PROGRAM OPERATION
1. Decide on the MineSight® Data File name(s) and items to be initialized with minimum and maximum values and
precision. Begin items with an alphabetic character and limit them to five characters. M102TS will accept descriptors
from an auxiliary file created by the user prior to the M102TS run.
2. MEDS M102TS <ENTER> (Command may vary according to which computer you are using.)
Enter the name of the file to receive the print output from M102TS. If <ENTER> is used, then output will be written to
the default print file (FOR003.DAT on most computers).
Enter the MineSight® Data File name and the MineSight® file reference number.
On most computers:
You may run M102TS again for the same file providing you have not stored any data in the MineSight® Data File (e.g. by
running M201V1). If you have stored data in a MineSight® Data File, and you want to reinitialize it with M102TS, you
must delete the MineSight® Data File from your disk.
If the MineSight® filename does not exist in the PCF, the following message will appear on your screen:
If you have incorrectly specified the MineSight® filename or the MineSight® file reference number, enter N. You will
be given another chance to specify the filename and reference number. If this is the correct new filename, continue with
Step 7.
If the MineSight® filename does exist in the PCF, the following message will appear on your screen:
If you answer N, you will get another chance to specify the filename and reference number.
If you want to reinitialize the PCF reference to this filename, enter Y. Respond to the question:
If you answer Y, the file will be deleted. Do this only if you have not stored data in the file.WARNING — For Files
13, 14 and 15, enter N and delete the file before re-running M102TS. The following message is displayed after a file is
deleted.
If you enter Y, you will have removed the filename from the PCF, but not re-initialized the file on disk. If you wish to re-
initialize the file, enter N or <ENTER> and continue with Step 7.
If you enter N or <ENTER>, the item descriptors must be entered interactively. If Y, the item descriptors for the
MineSight Data File must be in a previously created auxiliary file. You then must also respond to the question:
Enter the name of the auxiliary file you previously created. Item descriptors will be read from this file. Any item
descriptor with an error will be flagged with a message and not used.
8. For the description on specific MineSight® Data Files (8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 25), see the following pages in this
section. If there is no auxiliary file, or the auxiliary file has been processed, respond to the following question:
ITMnn :
where “nn” is the next available item number. Enter an item label, minimum, maximum and precision. Repeat the
process until all desired items have been entered. Use a <ENTER> to end input.
The program then types the descriptors for each item and waits for the reply. <ENTER> accepts the descriptors, and an
N <ENTER> reply will give you another try at entering the descriptors as in Step 8.
Protected Items are listed, but you cannot change their attributes.
12. If the items have not been specified in an efficient order (see Technical Section), the program will re-order the item list.
This will only be done if you enter Y or <ENTER> to the question:
If security on your project is a concern, you may specify a password for the MineSight® Data File that you have defined.
Be sure to record this password. File access passwords are not generally used.
This information is stored in the PCF and is used to give a description of the MineSight® Data File. It is redisplayed by
program M104TS.
Auxiliary File
File 11 is used to store drillhole assay data. There are three mandatory Standard Items and one optional Standard Item for File 11.
If an auxiliary file is used, the Standard Items must be specified in the auxiliary file.

Interactive Input
If you do not use an auxiliary file, the following question will be asked:
1. THE CURRENT MAXIMUM NUMBER OF DRILLHOLES IS nnn ENTER A NEW NUMBER, OR <CR> FOR NO
CHANGE:
This specifies the maximum value for the Standard Item REF#. The maximum value must be large enough so it will
never be exceeded. The default minimum value for REF# is 0 and the default precision is 1.0.
This specifies the maximum value and precision of the Standard Items FROM and -TO-. The default minimum value for
FROM and -TO- is 0.0.
If you enter Y, the optional Standard Item -AI- (assay interval) will be created.
This specifies the maximum value and precision of the Standard Item -AI-. The default minimum is 0.0. M102TS then
requests you to enter descriptors for the other items of information to be stored in File 11.
NOTE: M200V1 should be run before initializing File 11. M200V1 will determine the maximum data limits for items.
These limits should be used as a guide to setting the File 11 item limits. If additional data is to be entered later, you may
allow for a larger range of data.
Limits
File 12 is also used within the Blasthole System. Answer this question to determine the type of File 12 you will be using.
You may enter other items into File 12, but there is generally no need to. Exceptions may be the drill date or a collar code for further
selection or plotting.
If you are using an auxiliary file and the area of influence item is desired, it must be specified in the auxiliary file. The maximum
value will always default to 0.0, indicating that the system will reserve a full computer word for it.
If you choose to include additional File 12 items (in addition to the 15 protected/standard items mentioned above), each item will be
stored in a full word and will not have set minimum and maximum values (regardless of the minimum and maximum you specify).
BENCH and LEVEL refer to fixed interval composites and one of them would be specified for a 3-D mine model. The controlling
item for compositing is automatically set to ELEV. The label BENCH or LEVEL will appear in future runs of MineSight®.
SEAM and ZONE refer to seam composites and one of them would be specified for a GSM model. You must then respond to the
question:
This item may be specified either in the auxiliary file or interactively. Normally this it would be SEAM. The label SEAM will then
appear in future runs of MineSight®.

Interactive Input
If you are entering items interactively, you must respond to the following questions:
This question on PCF LIMITS is used to determine the appropriate minimum and maximum values for the composite coordinates
based on the XMIN, XMAX, YMIN, YMAX, ZMIN and ZMAX values stored in the PCF for this project. If composites will have
any coordinates outside the PCF ranges, then enter N to this question and enter the appropriate limits. Generally, east and north
coordinates will be sufficiently accurate with a precision of 1.0 (coordinates to the nearest foot in this example). The precision for
bench toe elevations can be the bench height when a single height is used for all benches. If any of the coordinates is not precise
enough, enter N to the question(s) and then enter the appropriate precision when prompted. This interactive input specifies the
minimum, maximum, precision and roundoff for the Standard Items EAST, NORTH, and ELEV.
If you enter Y, you must specify the maximum composite length and its precision. This will define the maximum value and precision
for the Standard Item LNGTH. The minimum defaults to 0.0.
Limits
Auxiliary File
For the 2-D Surface File, there is one Standard Item. If an auxiliary file is used, this Standard Item must be specified.
Bedrock elevation
Soil thickness
Interactive Input
If you enter the items interactively, you must respond to the question:
The TOPOG min and max are the elevation values from the PCF. You may change these values as well as the precision.
Reply N or Y as desired. If you choose the compressed mine model format, you must define the model limits using the following steps:
1. Digitize the ore envelope on sections and load the data to a VBM using M649V1.
3. Sort the output from M656V2 by the order of bench, row, and column.
The 3-D Block Model (File 15) is used in preparation for mine design. This model consists of a three-dimensional grid of blocks with
all blocks usually having the same lateral dimensions, typically 50 to 200 feet or meters on a side. The vertical height of all blocks
on a given bench or level are the same, although other benches or levels may have different heights. The block height is usually
specified to conform to the proposed bench height in an open pit operation. The lateral block dimensions are often specified to be
compatible with standard map scales, but these lateral dimensions must adequately represent the grade distribution. Each 3-D block
is usually considered to contain only one type of material (i.e., ore or waste). The 3-D Block Model is used for large, disseminated
deposits such as base metals and uranium deposits.
There are no Protected or Standard Items in a 3-D Block Model; the items stored will depend on the project. However, it is advisable
to have a topography item to store the percent rock below surface.

File 15 can also be used to store repetitive, three-dimensional grids for the Gridded Seam Model. There are no Protected or Standard
Items for a GSM. However, some items that may be necessary for later programs, and are generally applicable to coal models are:
Not all items are required for each seam. Parting may be non-zero for only one seam. Elevation of seam bottom is not used in reserve
calculations, but may be used for plotting purposes.
This will only appear when you have a GSM model. The default items are:
Point data may be digitized topography, digitized geology on plan or cross-section, generated or digitized pit designs, survey pickup
data, etc. The point data in a VBM is stored and accessed on the basis of a plane number and a feature code. The plane number is
normally a bench or section number. The feature code is used to identify what is being stored (topo, pit, geology, etc.). For more
discussion on VBM data, refer to the Technical Section in the VBM-series.
Auxiliary File
There are two mandatory Standard Items for regular VBM files and three mandatory Standard Items for 3-D VBM files.
Y-PLN Y coordinate
X-PLN X coordinate
Y-PLN Y coordinate
X-PLN X coordinate
Z-PLN Z coordinate
Normally, a coordinate pair will be packed into one word of storage. However, if the ((MAX - MIN)/PREC) for X and ((MAX - MIN/
PREC) for Y exceeds the number of bits in a word, two words of storage will be used. See the Technical Section for more details
on bits, words and storage.
Interactive Input
1. ENTER 1 if plane is “W—>E”
2 if plane is “S—>N”
OR 3 if plane is “PLAN”
You must select a default Orientation for your VBM (see VBM technical section). Use M102V1 to define a non-
orthogonal orientation.
The program will then echo the X, Y or Z coordinate limits from the PCF. You have the option of changing the
coordinates as well as the precision and roundoff. Frequently, the VBM limits will be larger than the PCF limits.
For “W-E” planes, the Y-PLN item is elevation and the X-PLN item is easting.
For “S-N” planes, the Y-PLN item is elevation and the X-PLN items is northing.
For “PLAN” planes, the Y-PLN item is northing and the X-PLN item is easting.
For “3DVBM” planes, the Y-PLN item is northing, the X-PLN item is easting and the Z-PLN item is elevation.
2. ALTHOUGH PLANE NUMBERS ARE STORED AS INTEGER VALUES, FRACTIONAL VALUES ARE
ALLOWED BASED ON PRECISION LIKE OTHER FILE “ITEMS”. THE default PRECISION IS 1.0.
This option allows you to use real plane numbers in a VBM, even though VBM plane numbers are internally stored as
integers. A precision of 0.1 would allow storing plane numbers with one decimal place. A precision of 0.01 would allow
storing plane numbers with two decimal places, etc.
• The minimum value cannot be greater than the maximum value. The only exception is if the maximum is 0.0
which indicates that a full computer word is to be reserved for the item.
2. Make sure that all required Standard Items are included. You will be warned if you forget to define a Standard Item, such
as REF#.
3. Do not redefine a MineSight® Data File if you have stored data in it UNLESS you delete the file from the disk.
4. The order of items in the auxiliary file or in the interactive run will determine how efficiently the data will be stored.
MineSight® will attempt to optimize the order of the items, but it may be possible to do better by manual re-ordering.
Consult the Technical Section for a description of file space optimizing.
5. Avoid using MineSight® keywords for item labels, such as ASSAY, CODE, GRADE, RANGE, OMIT or TABLE.
6. INVALID REFERENCE xx
will appear if the file reference number is not a standard MineSight® number or if you try to initialize the PCF or Project
History File.
9. You have specified 1000 columns with 5 words required to store data for one block. This requires a record length
of 5000 which exceeds the allowable length of 4000. You MUST restructure file 15 before proceeding!
You must either have fewer columns in your model or use fewer words to store data for one block.
will appear if the specified label does not start with an alpha character.

NOTE: Use PAR25 if the VBM will have Non-integer plane numbers.
PAR32 = PLANE NUMBER MULTIPLIER FOR NON-ORTHOGONAL DEFAULT ORIENTATION (default =1)
NOTE: PARs 27-34 are required for non-orthogonal default orientation (IOP25=4). Otherwise they are unused.
Zero is a legitimate value for PARs27 thru 31 and 33, 34).
The Plane Number Multiplier (PAR32) is used to convert a plane number to the distance the plane is located
away from the default origin.

1. A MineSight® Data file name must be specified on the Names Line. If not, it will not be created. The ITMn reference is
not enough to create the file.
2. File 9 must be specified (or have been previously created) in order for a File 8 to be created. Do not specify an auxiliary
file for File 8.
3. An auxiliary file need not be specified for File 12 since MineSight® default Protected Items will be created. However, if
you want “AREA” of other items in File 12, use an auxiliary file containing the additional items.
will appear if you identify an auxiliary file on an ITM line, but the file doesn’t exist.
will appear if a file is specified on the NAMES LINE and IOP1=0, but it already exists.
7. You have specified 1000 columns with 5 words required to store data for one block. This requires a record length
of 5000 which exceeds the allowable length of 4000. You MUST restructure file 15 before proceeding!
You must either have fewer columns in your model or use fewer words to store data for one block.
8. See M102TS debug section for other errors. Also check the MineSight® error messages in the Appendix.
The PCF must be initialized before running M104TS. M104TS performs the following functions:
RUN FILE: LIST EDIT TABLE NAMES IDENT ACCT HELP EXIT
- Interactive keyboard entry
1. LIST - Provides a list of each data file in the PCF with
the file control parameters, information line, and
initialization date.
INPUT: CALCS: 3. TABLE - Provides a short list of each data file in the PCF
table of file names.
- PCF (Project Control - Read PCF descriptors for
File) MineSight® files 4. NAMES - Allows you to change the name of the PCF or
- Edit and/or list the file
an existing data file in the PCF.
PROGRAM OPERATION
1. MEDS M104TS <CR> (Command may vary according to the computer which you are using.)
Enter the name of the file to receive the print output from M104TS. If <CR> is used, then output will be in the default
print file (FOR003.DAT on most computers).
LIST
You have the option of listing to the screen or to the report file. If you list to the screen, a list similar to the following will appear
on the screen and will also be copied to the report file. NOTE: If you list to report file, the list will appear in the report file only.

EDIT
This option allows you to update file attributes for MineSight® Data Files that are stored in the PCF file table. The only attribute
you are able to change is the number of data units for the file (or the number of words in B—file for DIPPER files). You are not
allowed to edit the PCF itself or the history file.
For example, you may want to run one project on two different directories. One directory may be for drillhole statistics and
compositing while the other may be for model interpolation and reserves. Each directory would have its own PCF. The composite
file would be common to both. Rather than running the composite routine in both directories, you could:
• Use LIST to check the number of data units for the composite file in the first directory’s PCF.
• Use EDIT to change number of data units for the composite file in the second directory’s PCF to match that in the first
directory’s PCF.
For example, if you wanted to change the number of data units in SAMP12.DAT from 0 to 48 you would select EDIT and do the
following:
TABLE
This option produces a list of file names in the PCF file table, along with an internal reference number, number of data units,
number of items, and record length in words. For example:
1 SAMPHS.DAT 1
2 SAMP10.DAT 10
3 SAMP11.DAT 11 2160 13 638
4 SAMP12.DAT 12 49 16 638
5 SAMP09.DAT 9 833 17 638
6 SAMP08.DAT 8 833 17 638
7 SAMP13.DAT 13 2500 4 100
8 SAMP15.DAT 15 100000 15 200
9 SAMP25.TOP 25 0 2 1000
10 SAMP25.DEW 25 0 2 1000
11 SAMP25.DNS 25 0 2 1000
12 SAMP25.DMP 25 0 2 1000
13 SAMP12.COP 12 36 16 638
14 —DIPPER—#1 20 1 2 5606
NAMES
This option allows you to change the name of a MineSight® Data File. Answer the question:
If you enter FILES, a list of the files in the PCF along with their REF# will list to the screen. If you enter a filename, for example
SAMP25.TOP, you will be prompted to enter a new filename and the change will be verified.
If you enter a <CR> when prompted for a new filename, no change will be made. If you want to “BLANK” out a filename, enter
the word “BLANK” when prompted for a new filename. If you have a filename that is BLANK and you want to name it, enter
the word “BLANK” when prompted for a filename to change. You will then be told the REF# for the first BLANK filename so
you can choose the name accordingly.
When you are through editing in NAMES, use FILES to verify your changes are correct before exiting. The changes should also
be reflected in LIST and TABLE immediately.
NOTE: — Always back up your PCF before editing of any kind! Changes to the PCF are extremely important and errors can
cause much inconvenience or even irreversible damage. Simply copy SAMP10.DAT to SAMP10.BAK, for example, before
running M104TS.
IDENT
This option allows you to modify the project identification line. This identification line is printed at the top of each page of
printer output and is originally set in program M101V1. Answer the question:
A <CR> will cause no change of the identification line to be stored in the PCF. Type the word BLANK to store a blank line in
the PCF.
ACCT
This option allows you to access a MineSight® Data File on another directory.
• The PCF and History File must reside on the directory from which you are running ACCT.
On the PC, before running this program, use the SUBST d: pathname command to set up a logical drive, where “d” is some
logical drive not already used and “pathname” is the actual path to the alternate drive. Example: SUBST K: C:\TEMP. If ACCT
is frequently used, the SUBST command can be included in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
The ACCT specification is unique for each machine type supported for MineSight® so some of the questions below may be
worded differently on your system.
After selecting ACCT answer Y to this question to begin the ACCT function:
The logical assignment is the directory path or account you wish to access, for example, K: or C:\TEMP If a logical drive is
used, it must be an upper case letter and must include the colon.
Specify each file you want to access in the other directory, for example, SAMP25.TOP. You must also verify the change:
This will remap the file from the alternate directory. Use the LIST function to verify that remapping has occurred.
To nullify remapping and set to original status, enter a space in answer to the question “Enter Logical Assignment or Path for
directory:” and answer other questions as above.
HELP
The HELP option will give a brief summary of each command.
EXIT
Type EXIT to quit M104TS and return to the operating system prompt.
1. EDIT
Entering incorrect data when changing the number of data units with the EDIT option would make part or all of a
MineSight® Data File unusable. This should only be changed for very specific reasons.
2. ACCT
If you change the directory from which a MineSight® Data File is to be accessed, you must have write access to this
new directory. If you don’t, certain MineSight® routines will fail because they will not be able to update the file.
The PCF must be initialized before running M105TS. 1. HELP - Provides a brief description of available
functions.
RUN FILE:
2. LIST - Provides a list of descriptor information on screen
and to the report file.
- Interactive keyboard entry
OUTPUT:
- Updated PCF
- Printer Output file
PROGRAM OPERATION
1. Decide on the data filename(s) for which descriptors are to be retrieved and listed from the PCF.
2. MEDS M105TS <ENTER> (Command may vary according to the computer you are using.)
Enter the name of the file to receive the print output from M105TS. If a <ENTER> is used, then the output will be
written to a default print file (FOR003.DAT on most computers).
6. COMMANDS ARE:
HELP LIST LABEL WRITE
HELP
The commands available are:
LIST
The descriptors are displayed for each item stored in the MineSight® Data File. The item label, minumum/maximum precision,
rounding factor, number of computer words, number of bits/word, the last bit and maximum integer that can be stored are
displayed.
LABEL
This option will allow you to change the label of an item that is stored in the PCF. You must identify which file you wish to modify.
Each item label for that file will be displayed. Change the appropriate label when the program displays it.
WRITE
This option performs the same function as LIST, but writes the list of items to a specified file name. The default file for most
computers if FOR019.DAT. You may write to another filename if you specify it when you are prompted.
A single line of text that will be printed at the top of each page of printer output from the run.
IOP’s 3-6 apply to mine model files only (13, 14, 15)
IOP3 = 0 ZERO all items of a record before transferring selected item values (default)
= 1 OVERWRITE corresponding items in a record when transferring selected items
NOTE: If you choose to ZERO, the records which have data being transferred to them will have all the item values
zeroed before the data is transferred. If you choose to OVERWRITE, corresponding items in records with
data being transferred will be overwritten; other items will be unaffected. In both cases, records which do
not have data being transferred to them will be unaffected.
If you are transferring data from a either a standard or a compressed model to a compressed model, only
transferred items will be overwritten, regardless of the IOP3 setting. In this case, IOP3 will behave as if it
is equal to 1.
If you are using files 9, 11 or 12, records will be zeroed regardless of the IOP3 setting.
IOP5 = OPTIONAL LAST BENCH TO BE INPUT (default=1 for Files 13 and 14; default=NZ for File 15)
NOTE: For example, if IOP4=1, IOP5=10, and IOP6=22 then values for benches 1 through 10 in the existing file
will be transferred to benches 22 through 31 in the new file.
NOTE: When using IOP7=1, the items in the target file must have the same label name and must have been
initialized with the same minimum, maximum and precision as the item in the source file.
NOTE: The values of the items in the GETnn line will be transferred to the corresponding items in the PUTnn line.
nn is the file reference number, e.g., 15 for METL15.DAT.
Values below the minimum or above the maximum
If a value is below the new item’s minimum, the item gets set to “Missing”.
If a value is above the new item’s maximum, it will be clipped at the largest number that can be stored in
the allotted space.
When using IOP7=1, GET & PUT lines are not used.
