American Girl’s Rebecca Paper Dolls

Recommended ages 5 and up

Instructions for the Rebecca paper doll and backgrounds

With this paper and backgrounds you can make up your own stories in Rebecca’s life!
Tools:
Scissors (Please supervise as appropriate)
White glue
Poster board, approx 22x28 inches

For the doll and outfits:


1. Print the doll page and cut the paper in two along the dotted line.
2. Glue Rebecca and her stand to an approximately 7 x 7-inch piece of posterboard.
3. Carefully cut out the Rebecca doll and the stand.
4. Carefully cut the solid black lines on Rebecca’s stand and below her feet.
5. Fold the stand in the middle along the dotted line.
Open up the stand so that it forms a “V.”
6. Stand the doll upright by inserting it into the small cuts in the stand.
7. Carefully cut out Rebecca’s outfits and you’re ready to play dress-up!

For the play scenes:


1. Print both pages of the play scene you’d like to use.
2. Carefully trim off the white edges around the play scene pieces.
3. Lay the play scene pieces side-by-side onto an approximately 16 x 8 piece of posterboard
so they make a complete scene. Glue the play scene pieces to the posterboard.
4. Fold the play scene on the dotted lines so that it will stand up.

5. Repeat these steps to create the other play scene for Rebecca.
