ABSTRACT

Jeremiah C. Butaslac, Ma.Gertrudes S. Melendez, Carmela Arganda, Mica Ella Alipio,

Denley B. Perez. Dagupan City National High School - Senior High School, Tapuac District,

Dagupan City.

This study was conducted to evaluate factors that influence DCNHS-SHS students in

choosing HUMSS. Quantitative survey method was used with questionnaire as the data

gathering tool. There were 183 respondents involved in the study. The study was conducted

during the school year 2018-2019.

Specifically, the study wanted to identify the factors that influence the DCNHS-SHS

students in choosing HUMSS as their strand the list of factors, personal factors typed the list

as main factor that influence their choice of HUMSS as their strand.
